Purple Papaya Runtz is a feminized hybrid from Relentless Genetics, bred by crossing the tropical Papaya with the candy-coated Runtz. The result is a resin-heavy cultivar that combines lush island fruit with sugary dessert notes. Aroma & Flavor Expect ripe tropical sweetness from the Papaya side, layered with Runtz’s signature candy glaze and hints of citrus and berry. After curing, deeper funky, earthy, or even cheesy tones can surface, giving the profile more depth than its bright aroma first suggests. Our plants are in charge here and we watch our trichomes and harvest when they’re about 10% amber, generally anywhere from 8-10 weeks after beginning the flowering stage. Once we’ve taken them down, they hang in a climate controlled environment for 6-9 days before continuing the process of buds being bucked off the stems and into curing buckets for a minimum of 30 days.
