The Sour “Papi” Diesel Rosin Jam was the 2nd place winner at the 2024 CA State Fair, while the Z took 1st place at the 2024 CA State Fair. To pay homage to last year’s winning cultivars and farms, we decided to showcase the defending champs together, as a dynamic dual consistency. This year the Sour Z Live Rosin Dual consistency brought home the Gold at the 2025 CA State Fair for best solventless live rosin. Visually, the Z rosin is a soft serve consistency that is placed in a donut ring fashion. The Sour Papi rosin jam fits perfectly in the middle of the Z donut. The result is a work of art that resembles a beautiful eye or sunny side up egg. The terp juice from the Sour Papi rosin jam seeps slightly, but is held together by the Z, at times creating a third layer of separation. Taking you on a sensory journey, the aroma and taste makes for a truly complimentary blend of sweet fuel funk, with hints of lemon zest from the Sour Papi, layered with notes of sweet candy and cream from the Z.
