I stopped at The Farm after flying in from another state. I'd never bought marijuana legally before, so this was going to be a new experience. When I got to The Farm, I signed in and was called to the back after about 10 minutes. The customer service guy was very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Frankly, I hadn't smoked pot since I was in my early 20s, almost 30 years ago. So I asked about the various sativa varieties (I'm not interested in indicas), and he answered all of my questions completely. But there was more than that. Since this was my first time buying pot legally, I mentioned a bunch of things not relating directly related to pot, and he was happy to talk without hurrying me to decide which strains I wanted. Try that anywhere else. (Go to Wendy's and say, "Hey, I'm from Tibet and have never seen one of these cool hamburger joints before," and see how receptive the harried order taker is.) So I walked out with several gram samples of good sativas and sativa-based hybrids, plus a new ceramic pipe. And a good feeling about the staff and the store in general.

I'm 55 and was a recreational user fanatic for decades in my youth. But I'm also a recovering alcoholic so I studiously avoided MMJ out of fear of relapse. Don't get me wrong - I was born an alcoholic and sadly I will die an alcoholic - nothing I can do about that. But to KNOW those demons are well chained is nothing short of a miracle. I watch my sobriety like a hawk and the turn around in my "internal dialogue" is astounding. I've also lost 26 pounds and started exercising. So what? Well, I used to weigh 400 pounds and went through gastric bypass surgery to lose over 100 pounds. Because of very serious childhood trauma issues I developed severe body issues and stopped exercising, because when I was physically attractive (in my mind) I was very vulnerable. What started the turn around? A hug and a smile from a Farm staff member. Thanks, B!!! Literally that simple. But it was followed by hundreds of hugs and smiles. Free haircuts. Free massages. Lots of friendly advice. And genuine, SINCERE caring for my well being. I know most of the staff by name and they GET me and truly CARE about ME. With such great high tolerance strains as Ghost Train Wreck and Headband, I finally have the ENERGY to MOVE!!!!! Thanks to their spectacular manager, Justin, I've learned about Gumbi and get out of the bed in the morning WITHOUT being stiff and can walk like a normal person. They've helped me integrate MMJ into my personal life - for instance, recommending medibles when "odor" is an issue. Every time I see a middle-aged woman at the check in counter at The Farm, for the first time nervously accompanied by her husband who's protectively scanning the store, I want to say, "You're in great hands. The staff will meet you where you are. The more you tell them, the more they can help. They're not here just to run a business. Everyone here CARES." The over whelming majority of reviews are about lab results, concentrates, how MMJ spreads through the body with various strains. And The Farm plays at that level. BIG TIME! But I wanted to let the Nervous Nellies know you're not alone. I was one too. Forget the stigma and the PR and the government hype. Marijuana is many, many things. I am very excited to be living in the time when the technology and science exist to finally do the research that is so NEEDED to see what else this little miracle can do. You are in gentle, well educated, professional hands at The Farm whether it's in Holly's miracle massage chair for free deep tissue massage. Don't think because it's free, haircuts at The Farm are wham bam. Lucy has years of experience and is fantastic! (Oh, yeah - another cool thing about The Farm. Lucy worked with me - for free - to redesign my 3 foot long hair into a more professional, appropriate look for my age. Then she had the receptionist print out the donation form for Locks of Love so I could donate my hair to charity.) The Farm staff are more than my bud buddies - they have become friends.

The Farm knows how to GROW! The cannabis here is by far some of the highest quality that I've had. Deliciously aromatic, with perfect density and looking like something straight out of a magazine. The unique characteristics of each strain really shine here. Walking inside this dispensary for the first time, I immediately felt at home in the warm and welcoming environment. After having a lovely conversation with the employees at the front desk, I was ushered through the security door and greeted by the budtenders. The knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness of these employees cannot be understated; they are unparalleled in the industry. A convenient location, very reasonable prices, and some of the best member benefits around. A Colorado treasure!

My husband and I visited a few dispensary’s while in Colorado and the Farm was by far the biggest. The staff was super friendly and educated. They took their time with us and answered all of our questions, even recommended a few things that ended up being some favorites of ours. One thing we liked was how thorough they were with making sure everyone had the proper ID on them. Thanks for the awesome experience guys and girls!

The budtender listened to what I was looking for and recommended a strain that I had never heard of (Ghost Trainwreck Haze). Terms like '28% THC' don't mean a lot to me, except that number was higher than anything else on their menu, and the bud was certainly potent! Since I just grind up the bud to vaporize, I bought their "bong snaps" which are buds too small for them to sell with their premium flowers, so that was a nice discount. After adding the early bird discount and all the taxes, I ended up with an eighth of pot for under $25. What a bargain!

I can say now after a few months of living in Boulder and con-questing to find the absoute best pot for a reasonable price that I am proud to call The Farm my one stop shop for all my heady needs. From great glass and unbeatable prices to their best strains all coming from the $10/g tier this place is really solid...I like that they even advertise the test results of most buds so you can see what is "the best" chemical wise..not many places in Boulder test their weed and not many would sell the highest tested stuff at bottom shelf prices after announcing just how potent the stuff is! This is big with me as it shows character. The staff is great and makes me feel at home greeting me with a smile and remembering my name every time.I don't get sold the more expensive items in the retail store and love the fact that 90% of the time I go in they are either jamming Phish or the Dead! My only suggestion is turn it up so we can hear it better... Here are my top picks you should check out after a few months of sampling and savoring almost every strain offered. Sativa: Karma Bitch, Ghost Train Haze, Moonshine Haze. Dairy Queen has phenomenal flavor and smell. Indica: Gumbi (for bed, it is the strongest CBD wise) Hindu Kush is killer smell taste and effects. Check out the Afghani too you wont be disappointed. Free massages on top of the other member benefits is the cherry on top. Check these guys out if you are having troubles finding a good quality dispensary with good stuff that doesn't burn your throat and have chemicals all over it. Dom

The new Farm opened a couple of weeks ago and I was really worried that they might not have the same large selection of medicine and that the new location wouldn't be as comfortable. Boy, was I wrong. The new location has such easy access, and that huge parking lot is AWESOME! They have a big space with lots of pipes, hemp clothes and art. I have checked out a few others but The Farm is still my favorite. Thanks to all of you at The Farm for making my weekly medicine shopping an absolute pleasure:) And thanks for the $175 oz. of my favorite DRO!

Everyone complaining about the pricing is blowing it out of proportion. The weed is so much nicer than anywhere else in Boulder, and you won't need as much to get just as lit. It is on the pricey side, but The Farm's flower lasts me longer than any cheap place in town. I feel good knowing they do thorough research into their product sources and their shop is very clean and well maintained. Granted, I haven't been able to be a regular there until just recently since moving from hourly to salary, but that's probably just because I smoke too much. The Farm is the gold standard of weed in Boulder, imo. (And yes, I am a local)

They have amazing products, great deals, and a wide variety of choices! I love that they have merchandise in the front and then you walk back to a very organized dispensary. All of the bud tenders are extremely knowledgeable and so so friendly!

This shop prides themselves by treating you as a guest, not a customer. This is the cleanest smoking product around (or vape, if that's your thing). You need to buy a half or whole ounce to save money. They have frequent deals and always something around a holidays for lesser quantities. Split with a couyof friends so you all get more for cheaper. They'll let you mix and match the same price tier flowers. This is the only place I shop for flower. I still go to other places for concentrates, vape pens, and edibles, but this is the spot for 🌲!

STARFIGHTER works perfectly with my body chemistry. Wonderful strain well done. Their flower is impeccable. If you are looking for the best flower in town, you just found it.

I'm trying the Herkimer strain for the first time: WOW! This is amongst the finest quality of herb (potency, taste & cure), I have had the pleasure of smoking! I'll be back to try the Rose Quartz soon. I also want to take a moment and address something that comes up on reviews a lot: comments about the buds not being worth the price. Now that it's "legal" you get to see the flower before you purchase it, don't think it's worth it: don't buy it! Take your time, then tip your budtender ;)

I've been to dispensaries all over the state and The Farm is by far the best. Beautiful store, great people working there..and the selection of top notch bud never disappoints. And I just love their shit kickin' music!

I have been to several recreational shops in the Boulder area since moving out from the east coast. Before visiting The Farm I found myself disappointed by the price points that most recreational shops were charging. That all changed I went to visit The Farm for the first time. The shop gives the recreational user everything they would want- a nice and clean store front, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a speedy process of moving users through the dispensary, and of course great flowers. The real kicker for me, however, is the price point at which The Farm markets their flower. The Farm constantly runs multiple deals that help people who wish to stay recreational an economic way to enjoy flower. They do this with strain specific, weight specific, and time specific deals that are rotated frequently so that you can constantly try something new while doing so affordably. This is all backed up by the fact that The Farm updates their menu as well as the daily specials daily on Weedmaps as well as throughout the store front. This is a great benefit to users who want to know what the daily special is without having to stop in or call every day! The downside? Don't come here for a variety of concentrates. If I had to guess, that is what The Farm chooses not to focus on. There are several other places you could go to get a wider array of recreational concentrates. If you want to find the best quality, most affordable flower sold by the nicest group in town, you have to check out The Farm!

The Farm is defiantly among the best of cannabis dispensarys in Colorado. there location is very convenient and easily accessible! there store is much larger than most other dispensarys and it is also very clean and well kept! before you go into the bud room the waiting room has a HUGE selection of glass ranging from everything imaginable from dry pipes, bongs, dab rigs and also vaporizers and its not the poorly made glass you find in most stores its top notch stuff! the staff is very friendly, and well informed in MMJ! the cannabis is well well above average quality and the buds are very dense! the cannabis might not be the cheapest in boulder but as with anything else, you get what you pay for! they have a huge selection of edibles and there Co2 Oil is some of the best in Colorado! they also have CBD/THC tests on every strain they have in house posted everywhere so you know exactly what your buying!!! The Farm is a example for the cannabis connoisseur quality marijuana!

I cant say enough positive things about The Farm. The front of the house is relaxed, friendly, and the staff is always inviting and attentive. In the back of the house, they are very informative and their strain list is updated with full Cannabanoid breakdowns for THC, CBD, and CBN. This means you can choose your medication based on strain, effect, flavor, and sedative properties. (If you don't know your Cannabanoids, I say "follow your nose" and pick what tastes good - you'll never fail). The Farm's strains are very consistent. I've come back for their Alpha Blue over and over. Its always a great day smoker. I have DDD and two dessicated/slipped discs, so pain rekief is also key. I havent found a better pain remiever than the brand of CO2 they carry. They have a high CBD strain Honey Oil called Gumbi that has been instrumental in keeping me off of opiate derived pharmies. On top of everything else, they also have FULL MELT ice wax there! I recommend taking a look at the different microns that they have on hand, because not e erything they have is "melt" but un general, the top shelf items are the ones to go after. As a patient, I could tell by their ads in the Rooster that they seemed to be getting ready to go Recreational, so I am moving my membership to Root Organic. I guess a lot if people don't know, but Root Organic is the Farm's sister store and they are staying medical! That means I will still have access to the same great all natural bud and oil and I wont have to get slammed by the taxes :) I think all the farm patients should just go sign up at the Root - the variety is slightly different, but they do seem to carry a lot of the same strains and I couldnt see much difference between whats offered for oil and ice wax. Im not quite sure if its the same growers or what, but Root Organic also has the same consistent high quality medicine. So, im going to stick with the Farm as long as I can use my membership at both stores but I'll probably end up going to Root Organic after they go recreational.
