Green Crack puts ripe mango in the jar and a little hurry in the afternoon. Best known for its bright, energetic reputation, this sativa-dominant hybrid mixes tropical sweetness with enough earthy skunk to remind you where the fruit grew.

Origin 1: The original clone-only Cush is credited to breeder Cecil and traces to Skunk #1 crossed with an unidentified indica. Its Skunk ancestry comes through Super Sativa Seed Club stock. Snoop Dogg is widely credited with giving the cut its Green Crack nickname, while Cush and Green Cush remain familiar names for the same classic.

Origin 2: The Cali Connection took the original cut into a seed-breeding project, first crossing it with a Deadhead OG backcross, then breeding back toward the Green Crack clone. Further work within that line produced its feminized release, carrying the familiar name into a distinct seed-grown version.

Sweet mango and tangy citrus lead the flavor, followed by fresh pine, dry wood, and earthy skunk. The fruit stays lively rather than creamy, with a slightly sharp finish that keeps the sweetness moving. It’s tropical with its work boots still on.

The flowers tend to form tight, dense clusters with bright green coloring, orange pistils, and a sparkling resin coat. Those compact buds pack the fruity nose into surprisingly little space. Break one apart and the Skunk side gets considerably less discreet.

The ones who keep re-upping describe a quick lift in mood and energy, often paired with alertness, conversation, and a sense of creative momentum. Physical relaxation can sit underneath that lively headspace without dominating it. Bigger servings may send thoughts racing rather than sharpening focus, so the strain’s get-moving reputation comes with some individual variation.
