Anyone 21 visiting Washington, DC can apply for a Non-Resident Pass and shop at licensed DC dispensaries.

No doctor’s medical card is required. Complete the DC application, self-certify that you have a qualifying medical condition, pay the registration fee, and receive temporary approval that can be used to shop.

Non-Resident Pass options include:

• 30 days — $30

Our Story

Cannabis has been personal to the Takoma Wellness family long before we opened our doors.

Our grandfather lived with multiple sclerosis and experienced firsthand how cannabis could provide relief and improve his quality of life when conventional medications caused difficult side effects. His experience helped inspire our family to create the kind of dispensary we would have wanted for him: welcoming, respectful, knowledgeable and centered around the patient.

Takoma Wellness Center opened in August 2013 as one of Washington, DC’s original licensed medical cannabis dispensaries. More than 13 years later, we remain proudly family-owned and committed to the community we serve.
