About this strain: Gelato

Gelato is a cross between Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, named in homage to its sweet aroma. Also known as Larry Bird, Gelato (#33) was first cultivated in Northern California's Bay Area and is derived from a deep bank of genetics created by the Cookie Family, the Sherbinskis family, and cultivator Mario Guzman.


The cultivators parted ways following its creation, and the cultivator who possesses the most “stable version” of Gelato genetics is up for debate. Cookies cultivates a few phenotypes and descendants of the strain named Gelato #42, Dolce Gelato, and a sun-grown Gelato. Sherbinskis grows four stabilized Gelato phenotypes in its rotation as well: Gelato #41 (Bacio Gelato), Gelato #43 (Gello Gelato), Gelato #47 (Mochi Gelato), and Gelato #49 (Acai Berry Gelato). Per Sherbinskis, the #33 phenotype is no longer in cultivation.

Y'all, I have been a heavy smoker for the past years. Like fr a heavy smoker, and not to brag but most of the stuff I smoke is bomb good quality weed so my tolerance is so damn high!! Anyway, I got this Gelato because the nugs were so fat and I smoked it in a joint and OMGGGG. I instantly told my bf this is the bombest strain I've had in a while. I tried Traditional's "OG" too but Gelato took the cake! Recently I have been puffing on Green Dragon, Cream of the Crop, Ball Family Farms, 8ths and Heavy Hitters/Lift tickets pre rolls and damnnn nothing does me like this. Instant stony high, instant body relief, eyes heavy and just long lasting! Nothing but happiness!! On top of that the 8th has a seal so just know it'll be fresh when you get it!! 100/10 I would defffff buy again!

Quality went way down on the batches from the month of January?? Airy dry buds with little flavor... Spray paint not hitting like it used too and the gelato was trash... Who's allowing this to happen?

THC is high, but was very disappointed when I got my delivery to see that it was packaged on 7/2/22 For the price they should not have old stock. I want fresh sticky ganja not almost 4 month old hot hit. For what we pay in the Bay Area it should look good smell good taste amazing and get you High as F Tired of playing Russian roulette with , blacked out jars and Ziploc bags ! Tired of being the victim of the bud tenders pre-job meeting “we need to get rid of this old stock pump this mediocre dope to our customers” I want super super good smoke every time and will pay if you have the holy buds
