Indica

Herbal, Lemon, Pine and Spicy Flavor Notes

A potent Indica strain of cannabis is Scott's OG. It is a India Dominate Hybrid crossed of Kush X Rare Dankness #1 bred by Rare Dankness. It features the smell of ghost train haze or sour diesel-ish. The taste is sour and piney. Scott's OG isn't the best choice for those just starting the use of cannabis. The yield from these plants is very good. Scott's OG offers a full body buzz and it can create couch lock in a short period of time. Therefore, it isn't a good idea to use this cannabis if you have to focus on various tasks. It is good for stress and anxiety reduction. It is often used for reducing aches and pains including joint pain or joint inflammation. It offers a relaxing feeling so it will make you tired which is why it is so often used for insomnia.

More about this strain: Scott's OG

Scott’s OG was created by Colorado seed bank Rare Dankness between 2010 and 2011.

There’s a misperception it’s named for Rare Dankness founder Scott Reach (whose nickname “Moonshine” was the inspiration for the seed bank’s Moonshine Haze.) In reality, the strain’s named for Reach’s close friend, legendary breeder Scott Blakey, aka Shantibaba. Reach said Scott’s OG is an extremely potent bud that often tests above 25% THC. It’s been used as the base for crosses by countless up-and-coming seed companies.

The strain is a cross between a Triangle Kush female he acquired during his time with the Devil’s Harvest Krew, and pollen from a Rare Dankness #1 male. He said the Triangle Kush used to create this hybrid was commonly traded among trusted growers in the early days of the “green rush” when open genetics sharing was more common.
