Gold Shelf - Brute's Roots - The Keeper (H)

The One is a classic from Oregon’s landrace scene, originally bred by Clackamas Coots as a cross of two cornerstone landrace strains, Highland Thai and Kandahar Afghani. The Thai side brings the sativa spark, and the Afghani side adds a thick, resinous coat of trichomes. It’s a balanced old-school hybrid with a devoted following. The aroma is pungent and classic. Reviewers describe a hoppy nose with notes of pine, earth, and lemon rind, plus hints of tea and green pepper. Fans call the effects creative, relaxed, and euphoric, often with a head-rush start that settles into a calm, focused feel. One reviewer says it’s great for daytime but fine for nighttime sessions too. Brute’s Roots is a family-owned grower from Egg Harbor, founded by South Jersey natives Kelly Gatto and Jim DiNatale. In October 2023 it became the first independently owned adult-use cannabis grower in New Jersey to launch product, and it’s known for affordable pricing and award-winning strains. This 3.5g eighth is a good pick for anyone who wants a flavorful, old-school smoke at a friendly price.
