The Beginning
Sinsemilla llc was registered in February 2017, just 5 months before hurricane Maria made it’s historical pass through the island of Puerto Rico. With this registration, we started an arduous government license process that would give us our first medical cannabis license. Our San Juan Dispensary in Ave. Paz Granela, would open its doors December of 2018. Two months later, on February 2019, we got our license to manufacture medical cannabis products.
About us
In 2018, as we realized the potential of the Medical Cannabis Industry, we set out on a 5 year plan to expand our dispensary operation and to eventually become a fully vertical cannabis operation. Hurricane Maria had left many commercial properties battered. Sinsemilla saw an opportunity to become the first Dispensary in the municipalities of Guayama, Coamo, and Juana Diaz. In Guayama, we approached the owners of Centrico shopping mall, hoping for the opportunity to be the first dispensary in an inside shopping mall in Puerto Rico. Sinsemilla Guayama opened its doors in August 2019. Soon after, in Coamo Plaza Shopping, Sinsemilla opened its doors in September 2020. Our final location is located in a Fresenius Kidney health facility, across from the CooperVision facility in the municipalty of Juana Diaz. Sinsemilla Juana Diaz opened its doors in March 2022.
