"Pie Dough Bx1 x Grape Pie Wedding Crasher ------------- Breakwater Small Batch is a series of limited releases created to bring you closer to our strain selection process. This project gives you the opportunity to explore strains that are still being evaluated for large scale production. Some of these strains may even return to our menu. ------------- Though pheno-hunting is always something of a lottery, we often seem to hit the jackpot with Crystal Rose Seed Co.’s genetics. Producing winners like Pie Eyed, Wave Runners, and Watermelon Otai, their complex, one-of-a-kind crosses always have us coming back for more, and Grape Crepe is no different. Prior to the creation of Grape Crepe, Crystal Rose had the opportunity to work with MegaRaw’s brand-building, in-house selected phenotype of Pie Dough, and he crossed it with his own Pie Eyed selection to create Pie Dough Bx1. He then crossed Pie Dough Bx1 with Grape Pie Wedding Crasher, a male known for its abundant resin and grape terps, to create Grape Crepe. Our cultivation team has selected two phenotypes of Grape Crepe: one for flower and the other for solventless extracts, and we have found this cultivar to be a wild improvement on the grape category as a whole. Opening a jar of our flower phenotype, Grape Crepe #61, launches a purple wave of grape juice and grape candy streaked with a subtle gassy note – an aroma that translates impeccably to flavor with vaporization or combustion. A balanced combination of stress-melting relaxation and uplifting euphoria is consistent with its lineage of Pie Dough, Grape Pie, Wedding Cake, and Purple Punch."
