About this strain: New Jack City
New Jack City, or simply New Jack, was created by the breeders at San Francisco Bay Area-based Epik Genetics in 2009. The team selected a high-CBD male phenotype of Jack Herer and crossed it with a Blueberry male and a Pakistani landrace X18 female. A rare cultivar, New Jack City affects consumers with a calm lucidity delivered with a spiced blueberry flavor.
Intermediate growers will find better luck with New Jack City than beginners, as this fickle cultivar grows best with extra care in a controlled greenhouse setting. New Jack City fully blooms between 60 and 70 days and features slender, Christmas-tree shaped nugs with slight orange pistils.
