Product description
SFV OG Kush was originally a clone-only strain that appeared in California’s San Fernando Valley. The Cali Connection growers created this epic strain by crossing an already well known OG Kush mother with an Afghani #1 male. The resulting strain quickly became popular in the Los Angeles medical cannabis scene for its extreme potency and tremendous taste. SFV OG Kush is an indica dominant hybrid that quickly became one of the most acclaimed and sought after strains in the Kush family line. SFV OG Strain stands out with large to medium-sized buds that cling together in the typical indica formation. The buds are spherical, with small leaves curling inward toward their central stems. Leaves turn a dark shade of forest green and are loaded with bright orange and red hairs. SFV OG Kush often displays light shades of blue and lavender in its leaves when exposed to cooler temperatures. An icy white blanket of resin covers the inner and outer surfaces of the flowers making it extremely sticky to the touch. San Fernando Valley OG Kush has THC levels in the range of 21-25%. With a CBD content of .68% and a CBG of .73%, this strain has a nice balance of calming and pain-relieving effects. SFV OG Kush has great medical benefits, especially for treating arthritis, migraines, anxiety, depression, and stress. SFV OG Kush can be tricky for beginner growers to get dialed in. However, even the most novice growers will be impressed by the sheer amount of resin produced by the plants. Plants grow to heights of 3-4 feet and undergo a big upward stretch during the first 3 weeks of flowering. Super-cropping is encouraged to allow for more even development of the colas. Flowering takes 60-70 days to finish and indoor plants yield 16oz/m2. Outdoor gardens will complete flowering in late September- mid-October. An outdoor harvest of 20oz/plant is standard.

About this strain: SFV OG
SFV OG - or San Fernando Valley OG - began as a phenotype of OG Kush. A grower named Swerve at Cali Connection Farms in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley bred it with an Afghani from Homegrown Fantaseeds. The resulting strain takes its initials from its parent strain, as well as the abbreviated location of its seed bank.
Breeders created the strain after selecting OG Kush for its earthy, lemony smell and sedating properties, which are the result of high levels of myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene.
The strain took 3rd place in the Indica category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam in 2012, and 1st place at the Denver Cannabis Cup that same year.
