Helpful staff, great selection. Love the rewards program & online ordering.
Illinois entire “med” program is a joke too expensive to restrictive do yourself s favor and grow ur own or buy black market it’s way cheaper
Why is this place closed on a Sunday? I can't believe they are closed all day on Sunday too. That's not very compassionate. Does a patients illness go away on Sunday? Do they no longer need their meds on Sundays. Your in the business of helping sick patients. You don't think they need relief from their Illness on Sundays. Amateurs.
While I wrote a negative review of Nature's Care the other day, I finally did hear back from the management, and they are being very nice, very helpful. I'm still in discussion with them and trying to figure out my own needs regarding mmj, as I've had effects from it that require me only to take certain strains, which may mean I need to find a dispensary with a pharmacy model, but I'm going to work with Nature's Care a bit first. So far though, they are responding much better than the last dispensary I went to. I still really want there to be an online ordering/delivery method available though in this state, along with independent plant growing.
This is the third dispensary I've been too, all of which have been extremely underwhelming, with Mindful being the worst so far. I switched to Nature's Care from Mindful and nearly didn't even make it to an initial visit after a mix up with my transfer. I was told the wrong information about my transfer being completed and almost ended up making a trip for nothing. I also nearly ran out of one of the products I needed and was at a very low quantity that day, which I was glad I made it through until the next day when my transfer completed. Nature's Care was very apologetic though for their error, which I appreciated. The initial visit was fine, though I continue to have issues with strains available in Illinois that are too high in THC and in Sativa percentage. I really need a low 3% to 5% THC with at least 85% to 90% Indica dominant. I went back to Nature's Care for the second visit just the other day, Monday December 18th, 2017. Started where a guy behind the counter seemed to be the person they assigned to help me, but after asking the important questions regarding Indica percentage to which he only tried looking at the bottle for information regarding the Cherry Wu strain, he stopped at that and left me to looking on my device for information, similarly to what happened at Mindful, but at east he made some sort of initial attempt and showed the bottle to me, unlike Mindful. However, the similarities started after, with me left calling the cultivator, Bedford Grow, that told me the dispensary would need to call them for the information, and they couldn't give the patient the information directly. Then why didn't Nature's Care offer to do that to help me. Instead, the guy behind the counter told me he was going to take other customers. Later as I sat there a while,a lady decided to get involved, when I told her I needed more information about the Cherry Wu. Instead of really trying to help me figure this out by calling Bedford Grow, who at least was nice in explaining the legal aspect of a cultivator giving out that information to a patient, the lady was trying to convince me to get a higher THC Indica that at least was lower in Sativa, ignoring my needs for both things. The reason for this importance to me is because I've been having really bad depersonalization/disassociation side effects from the marijuana. The one nice, helpful staff lady at Mindful did at least help me get rid of the anxiety and paranoia issues by her recommendations, including the Mari CBD Mints, but the DD issues still remain whenever I go beyond a point without mmj dosage. This has got to be due to the THC amount, but I also need to keep away from Sativa. Anyways, I was getting frustrated by the lady at Nature's Care, though not upset as I was at Mindful, considering the lady at Mindful the night I had the problem from her where she wad outright ignoring me, at least the lady at Nature's Care was trying, but then again it was the wrong kind of help, with no one offering to do what I really needed, despite what Bedford Grow told me. Then all of the sudden after I told her I needed a moment to think about whether I should just go ahead and purchase the Cherry Wu considering that they were low in stock - the one good thing about Mindful is they will offer to order stuff in, she told me she'd be right back. The lady went away and I ended up waiting over ten minutes for her to come back where I'd give her my decision that I made five minutes earlier, but I only ended up seeing her go out through the back while looking over at me, but not walking over to check on my decision. After this happened, the office manager appeared to push me back out in the wheelchair, never asking about if I needed anything, if I bought what I went there for, etc. Nothing. I wondered if they were kicking me out politely, even though I said nothing in complaint. After I got into the car, I told my mother what happened and she went back in The office manager left, so it appears she was doing a check on me to leave before her shift ended, and didn't really seem to care to check up on my experience. The man my mother spoke with as an assistant manager of some title didn't help either but to say the lady had left for the day, the one who was suppose to come back over to check on my decision. Really, these dispensaries are an awful method of distribution to patients, At this point I might even have a good argument to bring up to the Illinois MMJ board showing them three examples of bad dispensaries I've been to, two of which I wrote reviews for here on WeedMaps, one other that is 3C in Naperville which gave me the wrong verbal instructions on an edible and nearly poisoned me, but never apologized for it. If a patient cannot go to a dispensary because they will not serve them for whatever reason, then leaving the patient with no other means of acquiring medicine while dispensaries still serve other patients, is discrimination. Now I'm unable to go to the three closest dispensaries and something is very wrong with this system. Online ordering where all the information about a product is the best solution, like Amazon. Or else have plants be allowed to grow at home. I have a pretty good sized basement and if I cant get a resolution to these issues, I may have a fight to take on in allowing patients to grow at home.
The staff is great knowledgeable and caring. Both of the Nicks know their stuff

Ok, so let me start off by saying the staff are still great as ever, I've been going here for about 2 months now and their stock is great, as well as thier GTI stock. Thier kosher kush is hands down the BEST for PTSD, I recommend that anyone that needs to take a step back to try this strain so you can positively work on your past trauma without getting overwhelmed and going through an episode. ABSOLUTELY ASK YOUR MMJ DR/ PSYCHIATRIST FIRST IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON THIS ROUTE OF SELF REFLECTION AS THE EXPERIENCE MAY BE DIFFERENT FOR YOU!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
