A hybrid strain with mysterious origins, Chocolate Diesel is said to be a cross between the acclaimed Sour Diesel and Chocolate Trip (Katsu’s cut), a pure native Chocolate Thai landrace strain obtained by Dutch Flowers. Some growers claim that Chocolate Diesel has the growth characteristics of a sativa, growing tall and lanky, requiring support to stay upright.

The strain’s flavor profile has been described as earthy, skunky, chocolatey, and almost coffee-like.

The amalgamation of Sour Diesel and Chocolate Thai reportedly leads to the production of dark green buds coated with shimmering trichomes.
