The accepted lineage is a Strawberry Fields-type plant crossed with Haze, though the earliest records are thin - the story traces to a clone found with a novice grower in Connecticut. Kyle Kushman is credited with preserving the defining cut and carrying it from New York to California; some dispute that he bred it, but nobody disputes that he kept it alive. It arrived in the early 2000s, long before dessert strains, and made the case that aroma could matter as much as potency. Unmistakably fresh strawberry over a sweet herbal Haze background.
