Mimosa is Symbiotic Genetics' cross of Clementine and Purple Punch. Clementine - itself Tangie crossed with Lemon Skunk - supplies the tangerine citrus and the lift; Purple Punch supplies density, resin and the potential for purple. It arrived in the late 2010s and quickly became the citrus reference point on a lot of menus. Tangerine and orange blossom over sweet berry with a soft tropical finish. Commonly described as bright and daytime-leaning. Filed on our menu as a sativa-leaning hybrid. **Why this one.** This is Rove's solventless line, and the distinction is real rather than marketing. Instead of using a chemical solvent to strip the resin, the flower is agitated in ice water until the trichome heads break off and sink; those heads are dried and then pressed into rosin with heat and pressure alone. Ice, water, heat, pressure - nothing else. Yields are low and only genuinely good input flower survives the process, which is why solventless sits at the top of the menu. **About Rove.** Rove was founded in 2015 and is based in Costa Mesa, California.
