Rove built the Embar for one job: running Rove's own Diamond Series pods. The pod slides into the bar rather than screwing on, which makes this a closed system - it is not a universal battery, and it will not take a standard 510-thread cartridge. You draw and it fires, and the pod itself is the control - reseating it steps through preheat and the heat setting, with a short buzz confirming the change and another marking the end of a long pull.
