Product description
Chocolate Thai grew in Thailand's highlands and came west in the duffel bags of GIs on leave from Vietnam in the late 1960s. DJ Short crossed it in the 1970s to make Purple Thai, the mother of his Blueberry. Long to finish, light-yielding and near impossible to clone, so almost nobody grows it. This indoor sativa is what that trouble buys. The nose is why the name stuck: dark cocoa and roasted coffee bean over earthy, woody spice, with black pepper late. Commonly described as bright, talkative company. Every pinch carries the same mix of flower, crystal and oil, because Ripped grinds its flower first and infuses it after. Distillate, kief and diamonds ride in on terpenes and travel through the whole batch instead of coating the outside of a bud, so the bottom of the bag is the same as the top. And it arrives ready: no grinder, no prep, straight into a paper, cone or bowl. About Ripped: Ripped is produced in New York by HPI Canna, a woman-owned manufacturer running a 434-acre farm in the Hudson Valley with its own in-house drying, processing, and extraction.
