In 2016, a stray seed turned up in some Gelato #33 flower in California and grew into Lemon Cherry Gelato, a grandchild of Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. Backpack Boyz scaled it up, and a release through the Cookies store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles sent the name across California. Dense buds running green to deep purple, heavy with resin, kept it there. Lemon comes first, bright like lemon soda, then ripe cherry candy and a creamy finish over a clean thread of fuel. It is widely described as social at the start, settling into a warm calm. PUFF's own listing calls it uplifting, euphoric and relaxed. About PUFF Ross Haley founded PUFF in West Sacramento, California in 2017 and still runs it as CEO. The brand built its following on pre-rolls filled with nothing but flower - no trim, no fillers - and on keeping the same products on the shelf instead of chasing limited drops. It now makes pre-rolls, bubble hash infused pre-rolls, vapes and flower, and counts more than 20 million pre-rolls sold.
