Product description
The name is a pedigree, not a flavour claim. Exotic Genetix made Vanilla Gorilla by crossing Grease Monkey with a second-generation Cookies and Cream, and Grease Monkey is itself Gorilla Glue #4 crossed with Cookies and Cream. The gorilla in the name is literal ancestry, and Cookies and Cream sits on both sides of the tree. Growers and reviewers land in the same place: a thick, creamy vanilla that turns spicy as it opens, pine underneath it, and a low fuel note carried down from the Grease Monkey side. The plant throws dense, trichome-crusted flowers. The effect is commonly described as slow and settled rather than chatty. This is indoor flower, hand-trimmed, and Dank runs a rotating slate of single cuts rather than a fixed lineup, so a strain holds its shelf space only while it earns it. If you want the indica end of the menu with real flavour attached, this is the pick. About Dank. By Definition: The brand was founded in 2022 by George Karavias and Edward Kirkham and works out of Poughkeepsie, in the Hudson Valley. Its team is drawn from two industries at once, cannabis production and hospitality, and the care it puts into how a product is presented comes from that second half. The flower is produced and brought to market through HPI Canna, whose 434-acre Hudson Valley farm handles drying, processing and extraction in house, and every batch is hand-trimmed and lab tested.
