Creamsicle came up through Los Angeles, where Jungle Boys grew it from MTG Seeds' cross of Orange Crush and Juicy Fruit, two strains bred for flavor. Orange Crush, made in British Columbia from California Orange and Blueberry, brings the sweet orange; Juicy Fruit, an Afghani and Thai cross, adds tangy tropical fruit and heavy resin. The nose keeps getting compared to the dessert: loud orange and citrus peel over soft vanilla cream, with a peppery edge from caryophyllene. The smoke runs smooth, orange going in and vanilla on the way out. Smokers describe the high as bright and happy up front, easing into relaxed calm without sedation.
