The managers keep part of the budtender’s tips. Which I wish I had known was illegal, I was shafted for a year! If you budtend there, especially if you work the floor the majority of the shift and your sales surpass your manger’s sales. They are not allowed to take from pooled tips… you’re being stolen from. I’d definitely go across the lot or up to the Northland parking lot! They may have a vast variety, but it’s all mid to budget friendly options. If you’re looking for quality, there’s two other options in this town. And tbh, my former co-workers would take break and walk across the lot to their competitors, Mangers included.

The staff has next level customer service. We are on vacation and always shop local! Jailhouse is open early and an hour later than the shops in our home town. We have stopped in daily to get daily goodies. The staff is happy and knowledgeable and great to work with. If you are in Kalkaska or near it make this a must stop location.
