Two breeders, one dessert name, and almost nothing else in common. Strawberries and Cream gets claimed twice, and the paperwork barely overlaps past the fruit.

Origin 1: Connoisseur Genetics, out of Amsterdam, crossed Strawberry Cough with The White and came away with a sativa-dominant hybrid that's since become the version most people mean by default. Ripe strawberry and berry candy hit first, riding over earthy herbal depth before a smooth, creamy finish rounds it out.

Origin 2: Exotic Genetix took a different road entirely, crossing a Strawberry Jelly mother with a Cookies & Cream F2 male. The breeder calls it Indica 60/40 — which puts it flatly at odds with retail listings insisting on balanced or sativa-dominant. The breeder's own word wins that argument. This cut has since spun off an entire family tree of its own, with 44-plus confirmed descendants carrying its genetics forward. On the nose it leans sweeter and creamier, strawberry wrapped in vanilla with a spicy, earthy edge underneath.

Reviewers of both origins agree on the opening beat: a bright, clear-headed lift that eases into a gentle physical calm without ever fully settling into the couch. From there the two plants go their separate ways. Fans of Connoisseur's cut describe it staying social and daytime-friendly, the kind of high built for conversation rather than quiet. Those who've spent time with Exotic Genetix's version report something heavier and more grounded, in keeping with its indica-leaning build.
