Stopped by Green Tree and had mixed feelings. The budtender was friendly and apologetic when I got frustrated about the Tuesday special — all 1/8 oz top-shelf bags are 5g. I picked an eighth from the top shelf but was told it didn’t count because it was a “platinum” strain. The awkward part was that every jar on the top shelf was platinum, so the “top-shelf” deal only applied to the second shelf down. The budtender said, “I know what the sign says, but I just work here,” which made things uncomfortable for both of us. She spoke with the manager, who offered two platinum strains — one mostly shake, one that looked decent. I went with the better one. The bud was fine, nothing to write home about. Overall, friendly staff and a clean shop, but with all the dispensary choices in Boulder, I doubt I’d return to this one.
