Excellent Dispensary. Wonderful selection of healthy clones at a reasonable price. I drove 82 miles round trip to the Green Dragon because I heard about their clone selection. It was well worth the trip. Excellent staff. The store could use a chair or two for the elderly.

Upon pulling into the parking lt I was immediately aware of some differences. The lot was packed forcing people to park in other lots and in spots that weren't even parking spots and cars filled with people blasting music. Maybe it was because it was Friday night but man it was packed. Waited in line for a bit but was able to pop over to the concentrate display case and take a peak since all the other patients were there for bud leaving the case un blocked. My turn was up and our budtender was Alias(?) who I'd seen almost every prior visit but never introduced to so it was nice to finally have a name to the face. I let him know we were here for wax and right away he pulled out like 3 jars for me, I pointed out a few I'd eyed and asked about a few others and he recommended the Maui wowi overall so I split an 1/8th with that and the Fire og wax. Overall though I really liked how everything has increased in quality at least from looks. Can't wait till pay day to try out a larger selection. Fire og wax - texture is that perfect dehydrated tricome goodness with no honey comb to it. Fresh og smell that smells like the center of the largest og cola ever grown, and probably organic because it was an extremely fresh untainted og freshness scent. Had a darker tan color with blonde highlights. Burns perfectly smooth with a nice fresh potent og taste. High is a nice heavy overall og high with a heaviness in the front of my dome and a warmth through out the body. Maui wowi wax - texture on this one was kind of all over the place but mostly chunks with an amazingly blonde color to it. Smell is a sweet cheesiness with a sort of hashiness thrown in as well. Burns really smooth with a nice sweet and musky flavor to it. High is really heady and functional while still packing a really nice headiness and body high. Seems like green dragon has brought most of their menu up to par with the def star og wax which is always amazing. Everything looked so fresh and just from color alone on some I'd had before I could tell potency was probably a lot higher. I brought up the issue of the lack of an updated menu and hopefully that improves because that's the only negative I have to say about green dragon and it's a fairly important thing to have and only helps the collective out and in big ways. I know plenty of people who would be willing to trek many hours to get quality AND affordable prices on their wax like green dragon provides and the quality literally improves every visit. Really outstanding to see such a great collective doing so well and making so many patients happy. See you guys soon!

I made a long awaited visit to Green Dragon today to be pleasantly surprised with an amazing selection of wax after having not come in for a couple weeks. What's great about Green Dragons wax is how long it lasts you compared to other places wax. You know you're getting the good stuff here and the entire selection is equal in quality ending anyones search for a wax shopping spree. The selection was huge today and lots of new picks I haven't seen on the shelf before but everything had that great dry crumble but moldable honeycombed texture. On top of offering me the largest selection of clean wax at an extremely compassionate and affordable price that I have been able to find in my difficult search but they hook you up with a free 1/2 gram when you buy 3 grams of wax so for $120 you get 3.5grams instead of just the regular 3. Today I got the Dank OG, Great White OG, Purple Urkle, Sour Jack, Super Silver Haze, Mr Miyagi OG, and Afgoo. Another cool thing that Green Dragon does is you get a signature every time you visit and on your 7th you get a free 15$ gram so on top of our amazing selection of wax we got a FREE gram of buds to enjoy this weekend which is awesome for us since we don't medicate with buds often and its always a nice treat. And the awesomeness doesn't stop there, customer service is top notch here while being very laid back and easy going taking away the retail effect you get sometimes with "good customer service". I've been served by Anthony a few times now the man knows his wax. He's not afraid to show you anything or tell you what he thinks about something which I love because I'll do something like buy something extra I wasn't planning on buying just because a knowledgable budtender recommends it. Makes for a happier customer and more business for the collective - its a win win situation at the Green Dragon! Dank OG Wax- A nice golden beige color with some darker hues as well with a strong sweet musky scent. Lovely honey combed texture that breaks off into smaller chunks easily and can even be molded fairly easy if you need to - it doesn't powder to the point that it wont stick to a dabber. Vapes clean and tastes just it smells, sweet and musky. No after tastes which I prefer but a nice potently heavy concentrate lung pull comes on shortly after exhale and a nice heady high behind the eyes comes on shortly after that. I've had this one before but it was a different texture - a bit wet last time - this time its a PERFECT wax. Great White OG Wax- A golden beige color with less darker hues and more lighter whiter hues as well. Honey comb texture with a soft and sweet aroma. It doesn't powder to the point that it wont stick to the dabber when it breaks up and doesn't crumble as easy. Vapes clean and tastes rich and sweet, high is a creeper giving a nice heavy feeling behind the eyes and headband effect out of no where. When the creeping reaches its peak it comes on even heavier than I could have imagined. Purple Urkle Wax- Kind of a mix of light and dark tans but the inside center turns from dark to light when you apply pressure to it. Easy as pie to dab with. Smells sweet and spicy - vapes clean and smooth and tastes sweet and spicy. High is a heavyier body high but still starting and remaining heavy in the head. Sour Jack Wax- Light tan color with even lighter tan colors as well. Honeycomb texture but the holes and tunnels are smaller in diameter. This one was very easy to dab with and stuck to itself easily. Vaped extremely clean and smooth with a smooth flavor that kicks in with the concentrate pull and an after taste. High is a heavy sativa for sure - it took all the og's/indica's I just had and pushed them into my head. I felt like I could get stuff done at 8pm on a friday night and I ain't got no job and I sure as heck ain't got nothing to do. Super Silver Haze Wax - Tan color with some light tan tones as well and a lovely honeycombed texture. Smells sweet and slightly cheesey. Vapes clean with a Hashy flavor with a musky somewhat cheesey tone to it as well. A really nice high that starts and stays behind the eyes bud gives a really really nice warming body high as well. Felt like a heavy indica with no couch lock effect at all and rather energizing. Mr. Miyagi OG Wax- Dark beige with some light tan highlights and a nice honeycombed texture. Smells extra sweet. Vapes clean with a sizzle but no splash. Tastes remarkably smooth with a sweet and pungent flavor. Really heavy in all realms with this one right off the bat but it does mellow out to a nice buzz right behind the eyes. Made me feel very relaxed both mind and body. Afgoo Wax- There was just crumbs left on this one so thats the texture it was but it looked like it was probably a nice honeycomb with an extremely nice all light yellow tan color that had an almost goldenness to it. Starts with a relaxing body high and a delayed concentrate lung pull that initiates a nice heady high that sits behind the eyes and intensifies with the creeping body high. Taste was really great on this one too - sweet right and smooth. Def Star OG - I've had a lot of this wax and an 1/8th of this already and maybe it was the cure or this is a new batch but I enjoyed this more than the last time I tried it and I really enjoyed it then too. The OG stink on this one is not of this planet. Plump dense OG nugs covered in a snow shower of trichomes leaving the nugs frosted. Burned much smoother than last time with a refreshing almost minty OG flavor. The high is probably the strongest OG high I've ever felt without knocking me out. I was really excited when Anthony told me that there would be more Def Star OG wax in the future and I hope there's some more flowers for me to come scoop up in between now and then because I can even enjoy this wonderful strain in flower form because Green Dragon can supply me with affordable quality medicinal flowers that don't have chemy flavors and don't explode in your bowl like the fourth of july.

Stopped by today with fellow reviewer 91malibuchemdawg who has been lucky enough to try the def star a couple times now and I'm sure he will tell you all what he thinks about it better than mother goose on dabs herself. Today we were lucky enough to not only had been dabbed on def star before coming in but greeted with the pleasant site of a fresh full jar of def star og wax. This stuff goes fast and while menu updates are few to none it has managed to bounce off and on the shelves just as it comes and goes. The selection here is huge which says wonders about the def star. The selection is also always changing - if anything returns it always returns better than the last batch and I almost always like what's new. I left with another gram of def star og wax to replenish my depleating stash. Thanks for keeping this stuff in fairly consistently, hopefully one day the menu updates will be this consistent. Def star og wax - what I added to my jar today looked no different than what I put in it from a couple batches ago. Golden dehydrated tricome goodness - with that og aroma that's to die for and I can even taste it when I smell it. As soon as this hits the nail it vapes no bubble crackle sizzle or fourth of July firworks display. Just omg og goodness flavor thats so rich and potent followed by what I think we described as a heavyness of your entire face as opposed to just behind your eyes. The looks on this stuff alone impresses anyone with even a little wax making experience. Thanks again for making a difference Green Dragon. I hope things stay this way - always improving!

I had just had bum luck at one of my favorite collectives and luckily they gave me my donation back so I headed into the Green Dragon as soon as my girlfriend got off work. I was greeted by Gabe today who was a very nice and knowledgeable budtender and was able to answer all my questions and showed me what I wanted to see and had what I wanted. I'd picked up a full 1/8th of Def Star OG wax about a week ago and it was the best medicine I'd had in every aspect. Today I came in hoping I'd maybe find some more but not expecting it at all as the entire valley I'm sure could smell this stuff and if they weren't already patients of Green Dragon they could thank their nose for helping them find this amazing place. They were all out indeed of the wax but they did have the flowers! I went ahead and grabbed an 1/8th of the flowers since Gabe assured me they did the wax justice. The wax has kept me on cloud 9 all week and I still have a lot left because its so potent it really only takes a couple small dabs and I'm done. The taste and punch it packs is really powerful and so clean, this was by far the cleanest concentrate I've ever had that's been made with BHO and none of the bad yucky tastes that CO2 extracts give. Also I speculate that most if not all of the wax's are vac purged here and if not the ones I've skip must be the whipped because I've never tasted any whipped bho here. Every time someone has told me it was whipped and not Vac purged I've had bad wax/budder. If thats not enough to make me stick to vac purged concentrates then I'll tell you that I've also ventured with vac purging with my own extracting endeavors and whipping as well and the one thing I learned about whipping is that its a horrible thing to do to your oil and a huge waste of time and energy so I stopped doing it and ventured into vac purging. Unfortunately other collectives don't agree and they stick to their poor methods and make inferior product. I hope to see more stuff like the Def Star OG wax in the future! Def Star OG - WOW! The smell on this one instantly reminds me of Tahoe og specifically which could be another OG smell but of the OG's I've smelled it reminds me most of Tahoe OG yet much more citrusy, the citrus really invades your senses and takes over which is unique because so does that OG stinky smell. I hate smoking flowers but this stuff was awesome! The bud to leaf ratio was something that really stood out and even the leaf's that remained were covered in trichome goodness. Breaking apart these tightly stacked and fluffy nugs reveals kief packed goodness and releases a barrage of OG stink in your nostrils. Burns smooth with no funky flavor or after tastes. I found it hard to max out with this one yet the high was long lasting and extremely potent I could keep going bowl to bowl all day. High is much headier creeping out from behind my eyes right away and spreading through out my body slowly. Really did the wax justice, in fact I wouldn't even say the wax is better - good wax and good flowers each deserve their own respect individually and both were AMAZING. Much respect Green Dragon. Keep doing what you guys are doing! Peace and dabs!

I've had Green Dragon Collective on my 'to-go-to' list for a while now but for some reason I've managed to hit up almost every collective in that general area BUT Green Dragon up until today. Green Dragon Collective is located on Van Nuy's and I forgot the cross street but its after Sherman Way and there's a 7 eleven on the street in front of the plaza that Green Dragon Collective is tucked away in. Very easy to find and plenty of parking. Upon entering we were asked to give our documents and fill out theirs. This process took about 5-10 mins like usual and we were buzzed through to the flower room. I was on a concentrate mission this weekend and I had a feeling from Green Dragons menu at home that I wasn't going to be let down and when I got there and saw the selection for myself I was overjoyed. Anthony was our budtender and he was a great deal of help as we approached him with lots of questions and asked for plenty of recommendations which in both cases you can get some really snobby budtenders. There's 2 display cases 1 for flowers and 1 for concentrates. They had a fridge packed with delicious looking edibles if thats your game but I didn't find out to much info on that other than the truffles are dank. They had a very impressive looking selection of clones of some really dank strains. The flower selection was huge and everything looked amazing. The concentrates I was in absolute heaven with. Ear wax's for 30 a gram and wax for 20 half/40 a gram - what a bargain and precisely how it should be. There was water hash also that all looked like full melts to me but I was told they aren't ALL full melts but thats not my game so I didn't ask anymore about that. The selection was HUGE, I went ahead and got 7 different half grams out of a very large selection not sure how much exactly there was way too many to choose from, and thats absolutely not a complaint or a bad thing!!!!! We each got a free $15 gram for being first time patients which was great because I for sure wanted to check out the quality of their flowers as well. We went ahead with the Purple Urkle and Barak-o-bubba thanks to Anthony for the suggestions. All of the concentrates looked very clean and the selection is to kill for, what more could I have asked for other than when I get home that they are clean because with concentrates you really sometimes don't know till it hits the titanium. Everything was extremely clean, and extremely potent just as anticipated. I think Green Dragon Collective will be seeing a lot of me, everything is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to return. The prices are extremely compassionate and beyond fair considering this is also some of the best stuff I've seen. Check out Green Dragon Collective 818 / LA Dabbers and anyone else looking for a great concentrate hookup. You won't be disappointed. Boba Fet Wax - A deep dark beige with a light beige tint color with a lovely honeycombed out textured. Fairly dry texture and somewhat of a crumble but extremely stable. Smells something like mildly spicy yet sweet chocolate to me. Burns extremely smooth with a somewhat sweet flavorful taste. Gives me that concentrate burn that usually I only get with the really potent stuff that feels like something is pulling on my lungs trying to make me cough. High was mind numbing, started in the back of my eyes and worked its way through my body. Captain America Wax - Dark tan with a slight golden tint to its color with a moist and waxy texture. Fairly wet but once you meddle with it it kinda stiffens up more than it already is. Its wet but its very stable and easy to work with. Deep OG smells on this one. I think there may have been a blow out on this one or something, there was quite a few hairs and bits of leaf in this and it kinda had a greenish hue as well. It bubbled up a bit on the nail more than any of the others and gave a bit of splash that the others didn't. It didn't taste bad though, kinda planty and hashy and it was fairly harsh with a big lung pull. Very potent - very very potent with a high that comes on almost immediately and packs a mean punch mostly hitting you in the head / face. Silver Surfer Wax - Deep dark beige color with a slight bit of a golden honey color and a stiff 'budder' like texture. Not wet or dry, kind of in between. Somewhat of a grainy texture to it too. Sweet OG scents on this one. Burns nice with a strong hashy flavor. High has somewhat of a delay and slowly it started to get harder and harder to keep my eyes open with a roaring head high and tingling body high. Somewhat cerebral I'd even say. Dank OG Wax - Light tan 'budder' like texture. Not wet or dry, kind of in between. Somewhat of a grainy texture to it too. Mild OG scents on this one. Very light flavor on this on with a nice smooth bubbly burn. High comes on fast and works efficiently and effectively. Really heavy in the head and behind the eyes. OG Kush Wax - Dark beige color with a hint of a honey like tint to it and a wet waxy texture until meddled with and then its fairly grainy. Sweet chocolate OG scents on this one. Burns nice with a smooth bubble and a nice strong flavorful smoke. High gradually gets to a nice roaring head high with a warm and fuzzy body high. Actually it felt like the first time I was high and my feet used to get all tingly, I haven't felt that in a long time, years, and it was awesome. It could have been the fact that I'd just had 4 other wax's but this was just great. Honey Wax - Dark and light tan in color with a fairly grainy 'budder' like texture. A very sweet smell on this one. Smooth burn with a very nice full tasty flavorful smoke. Very smooth on exhale as well. High is very mild and relaxing all over. Taste was may favorite thing on this one and the burn, very clean and smooth burn. Chem D Wax - Lightest in color by far, a sem-dark beige with a white/tan tint to it and an extremely lovely honeycombed out texture that I absolutely love. Somewhat a of a dry crumble with extremely powerful potent to the nostrils scents. Burns extremely smooth and leaves absolutely no ash behind and tastes just as smooth as it burns. High is heavy and heady right off the bat but slowly eased into a warm and tingly body high. Barak-o-bubba - Very light greens with even lighter greens from underneath the buds. Nice fat nugs with a very mild scent thats hard to pinpoint. Covered with orange hairs and littered with trichomes. Burns straight to a white ash and clean milky smoke that packs an extremely rich full and flavorful punch to the taste buds. High is heavy indica but I didn't feel the usual couch lock effects but instead it was nice and body numbing and mind soothing. Purple Urkle - Anthony recommended this one first and sold us on it just on the smell alone. Extremely dense nug with a great trim job. It has both deep purple and deep greens through out the entire nug with lots of bright orange hairs and covered with trichomes from bud to leaf. The smell is extremely sweet and deep like grape kool aid invading my nostrils. When I broke this nug up the complete inside of the nug was drenched with trichomes and it let off a reek of that deep sweet scent. Burns straight to clean white ash and smooth white milky smoke that tastes just as sweet as it smells and exhales very smooth. High is very indica dominant with somewhat of a delay / creeper effect effecting both body and mind. I really felt like this was my best overall experience at any collective or dispensary yet. I was able to get supreme quality medication at the fairest donation cost from a very clean and well kept establishment that was easy to find and serviced by extremely helpful and compassionate fellow patients. I can't wait to go back but it may take me a while to finish all of these meds first and I can't believe I only paid $120. Happy dabbing all, I know I am!

It always seems to be my lucky day when I come in to Green Dragon and I always try to stay stocked on SOMETHING from Green Dragon because their concentrates have not only been far superior than most lately but they have so much selection and all fairly priced. Today was an extra special visit, Gabe was our go-to guy today so we knew we knew we were in good hands. Right away I eyed the Def Star and had to ask for verification that I was in fact looking at DEF STAR OG WAX back in stock! Anthony had told me this would be back on the shelfs in the future but unfortunately Green Dragon doesn't keep their menu very updated making it extremely hard to know when these things hit the shelfs but leaving you feeling extremely lucky when you walk in and its there I guess. Today was one of those lucky days, unfortunately I had only intended to come in for a smaller amount than I normally do because I wasn't expecting these goodies so soon! I didn't feel comfortable leaving with less than an 1/8th of each but I took my chances hoping they'd still be on the shelfs by the weekend and went with a split 1/8th of each planning to return for another 1/8th of my favorite 1 this weekend if there's any left! Gabe was like lightening on the scale and we were in and out faster than we could get the wax out of the container and onto the nail once we got home and let me tell you the bag was open before the door was opened. I've been craving these flavors for so long now I could hardly wait to taste them again! Def Star OG Wax - My containers weren't marked which at first I kinda freaked because I didn't know if I'd be able to tell which one was which but as soon as I opened them I could tell which one was the Def Star OG probably from having so much of it recently. Smells very strong of a freshly cut forest of ocean grown kush. Texture is just as awesome as last time, nothing like the rest, no honeycomb, just solid chunks of trichomes that have a golden yellow hue to it. Breaks off into smaller chunks easy and would be good for dunking and dabbing. Chunks break easy and will powder but it clings to itself well so its not hard to dabble that up into a dab or I dunk lines sometime, get some on a business card and scoot it off onto your ti nail. Burns super clean and fills my lungs with that extremely satisfying and clean potent smoke that I've been waiting for! Strong OG flavor, even the aftertaste. Lung pull comes on soft and gets stronger for like 30 seconds or so and eases me into my high as the pull fades. Head is very buzzy and behind the eyes is extremely heavy with a creeping body high that tingles and warms all over. This one goes straight to the soul and takes you were the rest simply can't. Special stuff for sure! King OG Wax - I want to say this one has a cheesy funk to its OG smell thats similar to Def Star but the cheesy funk makes it nothing like the Def Star. Has more of a yellow than a golden hue and that same sexy texture. Can't really describe it other than maybe dehydrated playdough made out of tricomes if you can imagine what that would look like? Its really awesome and has been one of my favorites to work with even though it can get difficult when you come down to just the powderded chunks if they don't want to stick to each other but with my knowledge of concentrate making this is really a great thing so don't take my documenting as complaining, simply here to help others. This one actually doesn't crumble and was more doughy and easy to dab with. Melts nice and clean and that funky cheesy almost chemy smell carries right over to the flavor and after taste, there was a hint of that fresh og forest flavor that the Def Star had but it was overpowered by the funk. The funk wasn't a bad funk btw, lung pull creeped on making me think I could avoid it all together but shortly proved wrong. High comes on heavy after that with a much more indica dominant high starting in the body and behind the eyes. Both this and the Def Star were indica dominant but neither of them made me very sleepy, the King making me feel more relaxed overall and mostly in the body but not crippling. Perfect for your heavy smoking patient that needs the more powerful indca effects and doesn't want the depressing effects that can come with a lot of those. I'm really loving the wax's like these 2 and am so excited to not only see the Def Star OG Wax return but with a friend, The King OG Wax and it impresses equally! I hope the return and addition of a friend means more additions like it to come because the other stuff just can't compare while I did see some new flavors that looked like they could be better because thats my main complaint about the 40$ selection - the flavor and its not a complaint because the effect is still there 100%, most of the other selection thats indica dom has been my savior for sleep. And apparently there's a wax / budder / oil drought in SFV? lol - well not here and actually I've been complaining that I have too much wax selection lately, not from just Green Dragon but SFV altogether. There's lots of competition but NOTHING competes with the Def Star OG wax and King OG wax now as well. Hope to see them back and hope to make it back before they leave! Happy dabbin!

My visit to Green Dragon Collective this long awaited friday evening was more than amazing. There was a long line today - very crowded bud room but Anthony and his buddy did a great job of moving things along fairly quickly. Anthony was our budtender again which was refreshing and right away he showed me what was good. I'd eyed it while waiting in line but he really assured my speculations when he took it out for me and I got to see it up close. The Def Star OG wax is what I am talking about my friends. I'd read a thing or 2 about the strain while reading forums and this concentrate for sure represents what I read about it - amazing! I was planning on getting a bunch of different half grams again but I went with Anthony's suggestion and got hooked up with an 1/8th of the Def Star OG Wax for 120$!!!! This was beyond compassion in my eyes - the dankest wax for the best price in town and lots of other towns. Def Star OG Wax - AMAZING! 10/10. Nothing to complain about. Smells so extremely potent - line pinesol and diesel fuel I guess you could say - smells like some of the better OG's I've had. Color is an extremely light blonde color with a texture that was neither dry or wet really - just pure trichomes. Was somewhat difficult to get to stick to the dabber and its not a good idea to work with this one with your fingers but its semi stable to the point that as long as you don't put too much pressure on it it wont stick to you. Crumbles very easily to almost a powder but dabs together with a little effort in that state too. This one is great for dunking as it pretty much flash vapes when it touches the ti. With a fat enough dab it bubbles up extremely beautifully with not a splash or firework. Taste is very smooth and rich - just like it smells. WOW - I don't think this ones going to stick around for long so if you're going to go get some go get some. Its worth it - I'd walk across the united states for a fat dab of this stuff. I'm so glad I got a full 1/8th of this and for such an amazing deal! Thank you so much Green Dragon Collective! Happy dabbing INDEED!

Made it into Green Dragon today, haven't been in since my birthday on the 18th when I got some nice sour d and silver surfer but my first taste of def star cake batter was enough for me to despise the new cake batter concentrates appearing on the menu lately. I was really disappointed with the def star from last visit and was really hoping that the cake batters were a fluke but seems from talking to the guys today that the maker prefers making it like this and it's probably going to keep coming out that way. I was happier to see the prices dropped to what they should be and only 1-2 cake batter selections so maybe the assumptions and worries of it sticking around are wrong. I was a bit concened when I was told the cake batter was preferred. In argument I couldn't get any reasons and they agreed with all my reasons to the quality being better in he past so I hope we can figure out the communication issue here and get who ever is making our medicine to listen to the patients concenrns if its just a matter of preference, I prefer my medicine to taste good and complete but the quality has nothing to do with preference. Guys were cool as always, easy going, laid-back, Taylor hooked me up with a bomb bud recommendation - platinum og. Was shown black mamba at first but when I asked for something a bit more fuely he brought out the platinum og. The difference in smell was precisely what I asked for, the mamba was kind of sweeter smelling where as the plat had much more of a fuely stank with still a tad of sweetness, more lemony sweet then a berry or sugary sweet. I also snagged a half g of killer og wax but again there was lots of new stuff and I was talking way too much to pay much attention to the others, looked along the same lines though so that was good. If you get a chance just take a whiff of the cake batter and something that's dry and dehydrated and ignoring the smell try and tell the difference in the potency or power of the smells. The cake batter could just be water contamination, too much heat, different materials used, not sure but it's not good and it's not better. Hope we never see it again after what remains falls off the shelves. Platinum og - it's always nice to experience the difference of flavors and highes between clean quality concentrates and clean quality flowers. Unfortunately I stick to concentrates because things like mold and improper flushes cures and grows make me paranoid and agitated and are sometimes hard to avoid, especially when you're not an expert at what it is you are dealing with. I wasen't sure what I was going to find wax wise today so I went in today intending to buy flowers but picked my wax first. When my budtender asked me if i wanted anything else instead of saying no I said yes and asked for a recommendation of the best. Taylor was right on with his second recommendation for what I asked for. Fuely smell flavor and crisp aftertaste on this one. Buds are all sorts of shapes and sizes, typical chunkily stacked buds with resist orange hairs all covered in a frosting of trichomes. not very stemmy or leafy, some natural sugary leafiness left on but fan leaves seemed well taken care of. High was noticeable after one small snap, my headache from the DMV slowly resided and I got warm behind the eyes and in about 5 mins I was slowly findng myself more and more relaxed. Effect stayed on pretty heavy until I could refill the bowl with a larger snap. Packing the 2nd snap I really noticed how sticky it was and how vibrant the colors were from the light green at the base to the dark green tips. I noticed it even more so when I sparked the bowl and watched it almost ignite up like it had hash on it and then burned at a nice pace to a white ash. Full rich flavors fill my lungs and within moments after exhale my eyes drop, get get heavy and an amazing relaxing feeling over came me immediately. Fades to a creeping buzz, after taste is so fuely fresh and fills your mouth and lungs and lingers for ever. So stumped at why I could pay $50 an 1/8th for this seemingly perfectly grown flushed cured manicured and cared for bud when most places charge 60$+ and in no way shape or form provide me with all of what I mentioned I recieved here at green dragon today. Killer og wax - ok so as if some extremely fresh and potent nugg wasen't enough to make me forget all the horrible sites and experiences had at the lovely DMV today I snagged a half g of the killer og. Got hooked up fat with .7 on my HALF g which is so appreciated. Looks dry and crumbly with a light tan color and a white tan on one side of the chunk. Smells mildly of the fuely piney lemony scent I like, smelled nothing like previous killer og waxes though, much sweeter and chocolaty hashy. Burns smooth and rather instantaneously, tastes clean and rich of full piney fuely sweet flavor with more piney than sweet. Exhale is smooth with a medium sized expansion that infiltrates and tingles the nostrils. High is heavy but functional and clears the mind and relaxes the body. One small dab of this quality concentrate probably equals 4 or 5 large bong loads when it comes to how long a high lasts and how potent a high is. By my 2nd dab I feel like I've smoked a fat blunt to my dome. So efficient, so effective. Highs are alot less lethargic with wax compared to flower IMO. Strain matters but when you take a functional indica Dom og wax and functional indica Dom flower and compare them I still get a lethargic/ burnt out feeling I'd get with almost any bud. Just something I've noticed comparing this killer wax to the platinum bud. What a refreshing visit. Great to see some dehydrated goodness back on those shelves and cracking like they should be. Hope to see that cake batter off them forever one day. Totally stoked about the platinum being so amazing for someone whos so picky about thier flowers. I didn't just enjoy it or feel satisfied, I freaking loved it and was able to get stoned on pure raw ganja which is hard to do with these waxy lungs and concentrated tolerance!
