Distillate is a purified oil for vaporization that has had its fats and waxes removed and has been further distilled in order to remove pigments, plant matter, terpenes and other impurities. After being distilled, natural terpenes are reintroduced for flavor and effect. It tends to be almost clear in color as a result of the distillation process

Lemon Wood's three main terpenes are Pinene, Myrcene, and Terpinene.

*Pinene, the most prominent terpene, is said to work by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase activity in the brain, which helps you retain memories more efficiently. Other benefits include euphoria, increased alertness, reduced oil production in oily skin, and anti-cancer properties. In addition to a distinctive aroma of pine or “Christmas tree”, pinene is found in a wide range of herbs like rosemary, parsley, basil, and even orange peel.

*Myrcene is said to have powerful antibiotic, antimutagenic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and sedative effects. Working in synergy with THC, the terpene is ideal for patients suffering from sleep disorders like insomnia. As well as pain and bodily discomfort, acting as a powerful muscle relaxant. As the most common and a particularly potent terpene, with a spicy, earthy, musky scent that gives cannabis strains a mildly sweet flavor profile. Also found in herbs like thyme, basil, and hops.

*Terpinene is said to induce minor drowsiness with its sedative properties. These sedative properties may, in turn, reduce anxiety as the body and mind simultaneously calm. Terpinene is prized for its spicy taste and is frequently used as a flavoring agent. The terpene contributes to the warm scent of allspice and is sometimes added to industrial fluids to make their odors more pleasant.
