Another entry in the storied "Sour" lineage, Sour Headband is a sativa-heavy hybrid cannabis strain that refers to a couple of crosses. Almost all of our sources agree that Sour Headband is a combination of the famous sativa hybrid Sour Diesel and the indica-leaning Headband strain. However, at least one credible source says Loud Seeds combined the Sour Diesel descendant 7/8th Sour with Headband to make this strain. The Sour Headband strain boasts prominent levels of caryophyllene, myrcene, and limonene terpenes, giving the flowers a skunky lemon diesel scent and a super sour citrus chemical taste when smoked. As the name suggests, users say the Sour Headband high starts at the back of the head, elevating the mind into a state of focus and giddy creativity before gently shifting into a soothing, hazy body buzz later in the session.
