This place rocks. I've been going to Grass Monkey for years now. Their new store is gorgeous, and their cannabis is unmatched. I like to try new places out, but have yet to find anyone on Grass Monkeys level. If your looking for consistent quality served with a smile, this is your place.

Just found this place and was so impressed. Not sure why people are leaving negative reviews because of price-you get what you pay for and if you can't afford it , then shop somewhere else? Sincerely the best weed I've ever had and the packaging is so cool. Good job Grass Monkey I'll be back!

Cannabis done right should go for a fair price and GrassMonkey is always more than fair to me. Started going there when they first opened up their storefront. Was instantly hooked on the unique, loud, and eye-popping decor. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, every strain was as good or better than the next. Lots of places will quote breeders average or highest THC potential rather than test their own phenos to see how they match up but I have always felt that when GrassMonkey puts 20% THC on a jar (which seems to be minimum standard potency which I love lol) they mean it. The absolutely only time I ever had a problem with a purchase I went back and spoke with the manager Nicole, worked out an extremely fair remedy and left with an armful of strains that put me right back where I need to be. How a business handles its worst moments speaks volumes about how they shine at their best and Nicole and GrassMonkey shine bright in my book. Also their Wedding Cake is the truth. Buy it. Now

I don’t profess to know a ton about medical marijuana and all the varieties, but I can tell quality over crap. Anyways, I’ll begin by saying how the products are absolutely excellent. They have a wide range of edibles mainly by Afterglow edible Co, which is an incredible business with some of the best quality edibles I’ve ever seen. They hands down make the best hard candies of the 15+ types I’ve consumed. The flower is clearly of superior quality, but the concentrates are perfection. The shatter is that lovely light amber brown color, translucence, and taste that is expected of good shatter. The budder is hard hitting and super flavorful. I haven’t tried any of the hash rosin (most expensive), the sugar is the concentrate that takes first place in my heart. The THCA crystals shine and the smell and lusciousness of the terp sauce is hypnotic. Lastly, a huge shoutout to the owners/bud tenders, particularly the male bud tender Austin, as he has proven to be a helpful and capable presence when browsing products. He has a good knowledge of the products and is always polite and good at conversation and answering questions.

I've been a Grass Monkey customer for two years; their flower is beautiful and delicious. After years of bonfires and visiting dispensaries around the state, Hazy Hill is the only caregiver that I've found with flower that compares to Grass Monkey. They've actually spoiled me (I'm unable to smoke flower from most caregivers and dispensaries now)- there's not much in Maine that compares to Grass Monkey

It was my first visit today, and I was totally impressed! Their interior theme is a feast for the eyes- bright pops of color, tropical, and monkeys galore! It’s just so well thought out and unique! I’ve never been to a place quite like it! A really nice young woman helped me, and she was great (I did get her name, but for her privacy, I’m not going to share it here)! She gave me the run down, and helped me find a product that truly works for my needs! She also informed me on the special they happened to be running today, as well as others they have throughout the week - very good to know! And, silly as it may seem to point out, but the Grass Monkey packaging is adorable! Very eye-catching, and worth keeping if you’re into that. All in all, I’m a happy camper, and will gladly stop in again, and recommend them to other patients!

This place if popping off right now! They have a couple news articles, they are huge supporters of Radio Hot 104.7. They are one of the best looking shops around. They have a great staff that can help you with any questions asked and have very affordable product for the consumers and patients!

I just stopped in here and I give it 2 thumbs up! The staff was wicked knowledgeable and very very friendly. Also the packaging is the best I’ve seen yet, and the seal keeps all the smell and freshness in your flower.

This week my husband and I stopped at Grass Monkey during our "dispensary tour of southern maine" vacation. The butenders were all wonderful! They have a very nice selection of all products across the board, and I didn't feel ignored or rushed while I was there. I bought a few items, but one in particular stood out... the flower strain Slurricane. My lovin!!!! We smoked a third of a pre-rolled cone and I was grooving so hard I don't remember going to bed. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ 100% recommend this dispensary and we WILL be going back next time we're in the Portland area. Yesterday while running errands in south Portland I took a shot and tried Grass Monkey for the first time, threw some friends I had heard it was the place to go. I went in was greeted by a super nice girl who even offered to laminate my card for me, the girl who assisted me I don’t remember her name but she was so so helpful and I went in with grabbing THE MAC strain she had also showed me and suggested CITRUS TSUNAMI. based on her recommendation I got some also, I couldn’t be happier that I did!! she was spot on the bud here is official 🔥🔥as well as customer service it’s top notch !!!! Definitely my new go to spot!!!

I consume my fair share of flower! I traditionally have used several different places to get it. I usually go to one place until I am disapointed or let down. So far the quality and CONSISTENCY of the Grass Monkey flower is truelly, what I would call, exceptional. Great product, fair price, good people. Came in from out of town, wanted to get an oz of some straight gas and I could tell it was by the containers and the quality of the bud, was able to get two different strains for the oz, so 2 half’s of some fire, and the first time discount helped out too, and there carts are killer, chem and cookies I highly recommend
