Double Dream (Blue Dream x DreamStar) - Double Dream is an almost entirely sativa dominant cultivar (90/10) that was bred by Purple City Genetics by taking DreamStar (Sensi Star x Blue Dream) and back-crossing it to the Blue Dream parent. The breeders of both DreamStar and Double Dream selected for qualities that are associated with sativas that make it creative, uplifting, and euphoric while selecting for a Blue Dream dominant terpene profile. As a result, Double Dream’s profile is described as consisting of sweet blueberry notes accompanied by minor vanilla cream and an herbal or floral spice. Its effects are consistent with sativa cultivars, providing a clear-headed and functional creative and social high with little to no sedating effects, and has even been said to energize some consumers. The small counterbalance of indica in this cultivar provides just enough of a relaxing effect to prevent most sativa-sensitive users from experiencing the anxiety associated with strong energizing strains.
