AJ Sour Diesel has legendary origins as a clone-only strain cultivated by the renowned Joe Murray (aka AJ Sour Diesel). In an interview with Leaf Nation, Joe shares that AJ Sour Diesel first started when Chem 91 was pollinated by an unknown strain from Sensi Seeds, nicknaming the result “Diesel." Joe continued to grow this cross in 1994, when a random seed produced what's now known as “Sour Diesel."
