Hailing from Iowa and California respectively, John and Francie’s journey began amidst the cobblestone streets of Florence, Italy. Fate brought them together during John’s Army stint, and together, they ventured into the world of Italian leather goods. Newbury Street saw the birth of their boutique, a testament to their shared vision and unwavering commitment to quality.

Their entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. From Northern Italian restaurants to vibrant lounges, the couple’s ventures echoed their passion for creating spaces where people come together to savor life’s moments.

Fast forward to today, and their sons, J.B. and Garrett, have seamlessly integrated their unique stories into the vibrant fabric of Comm Ave Canna. J.B. brings a wealth of experience as the North East Regional Sales Manager at a large multi-state operating cannabis company. His deep-rooted passion for nightlife and entertainment, honed during his tenure at the family’s previous establishments, The Living Room and Perfect Tan, infuses a unique energy into Comm Ave Canna.

Meanwhile, Garrett brings a touch of nature’s beauty to our space, drawing on his background in landscape, horticulture, and woodworking. When he’s not curating our verdant oasis, he’s likely tending to his other passions—fishing, archery, and cultivating cannabis with a craftsman’s touch. His dedication to craftsmanship and love for the natural world shine through in every corner of our dispensary.

With over 20 years of community involvement, Francie has been the heartbeat of it all. Her keen eye for detail and unmatched dedication made Perfect Tan a cherished cornerstone of the community, and it’s that very spirit that lives on in Comm Ave Canna.
