they are slowing upping prices on edibles, this was my favorite spot for edibles but they see a item get popular and up the price... the nug bar is went up 7 bucks since they started carrying it, and other places still have the same price and they don't even have a rewards system for those prices..
Thanks for the review! Unfortunately when those edible companies start charging more we have to raise the prices. We never mark it up more than we have to. The NUG bars are very popular here and they started charging everyone more this last Monday and everywhere else will eventually start charging more. They might be going through their old stock so that may be why it's still the same price. We do have a VIP text club that when you sign up you get exclusive access and deals on products so if you haven't signed up yet we encourage you do so next time you come in. You can ask your budtender for more information. Again, we apologize but with legalization that is unfortunately part of the deal.
I have been coming to this dispensary for 6 years. However, within the last two years the service has been severely lacking. All but a few budtenders are impatient when asked for recommendations, and aren't very friendly. Eyerolls aren't uncommon when asking for more details on a product. Nobody could explain the tax on medical products. just that it was the same. Which is frustrating when renewing my card i was told and given paperwork that explicitly states that it's not. It would have been nice for a more knowledgeable member of staff to explain instead of shrugging and handing me my bag..
Hey there. All the staff here is friendly and very patient with all of our customers/patients. Sometimes it gets really busy and if someone is in here for more than half an hour it could be that they just want to make sure you get what you need and move onto the next customer/patient as nobody likes waiting for too long. If you could point out to us who it was that you say rolled their eyes then we can defintely address the issue as they shouldn't ever be doing that. Tax is across the board on all products and the law specifically states that it doesn't discriminate against medicinal or recreational. That is something we have no control over and is collected by the city and state. If you ever have any questions and feel the answers you're getting aren't satisfactory, you can always ask to speak to a manager and one will always be there for you. Other than things that are out of our control we would love for you to come back and address any of your concerns with management and we're sure you'll get answers and understand how things work now.

loyal customer, but time to move on. service and prices went down hill since they became recreational.
Hi there! The prices went up everywhere due to the new law that went into effect January 1st, 2018. Distributors charge us more because they get charged by the state and in turn prices go up for the consumer. Otherwise the service is all the same and we do all we can to ensure the customers/patients that come through get the best prices for the best products. We apologize again and hope you'll understand we're cheaper or comparable to most other dispensaries in Sacramento.

I am a regular here. I have been coming to this dispensary since I moved to Sacramento 2yrs ago. The old staff was AMAZING and very knowledgeable. This new staff is a joke. I have been undermined and treated with impatience. The new staff (let me be fair. not all of the new staff) from my experience out of the 4 times I went there since the law changed, is not very knowledgeable at all. To make things worse the weedmap menu is VERY INCONSISTENT, so when it says updated a min ago, LIES. I was there on Saturday and asked for some wax ($20on the weedmap site) not only did they "just run out 1 min ago" but I paided $38+tax because the price "just changed last night " the guy that helped me didn't know what wax was similar to the one I originally asked for. Or actually he thought he did until he asked a more knowledgeable colleague who seemed like he knew his stuff. I almost bought something that wasn't similar tho what I wanted. What I actually bought was just ok....
Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. We would like to know how you were undermined as all the new staff is trained to be as helpful as possible. We're sorry if that was the case and would appreciate it if you could point out who it was so we can clear it up. Weedmaps isn't up to the minute updated as we're so busy that it would be impossible to have it that way, but it is updated daily and should be pretty accurate. Prices are changing all the time because of the new laws and is the case in almost all the dispensaries you go to. We have to update prices to reflect taxes that we're being charged and unfortunately that means the prices go up for our customers and patients. It's never an easy thing to recommend something else that's comparable when it comes to certain products as they'll almost always be different for each individual. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused while we're transitioning to be California compliant. Please do come back and check us out again as we're sure you'd be satisfied.
Came in with some question along with a friend of mine. Left with vape pen and cartridge. Awesome customer service I was their right before closing. The bud tender took her time and answered all my questions 5 stars. I can’t remember her name but here eye brows were on point.

I haven’t stopped by this dispensary in a long time. My usual place nearby went out of their minds and started charging outrageous prices. So i thought i would give this a go again. First off. Let me tell you Stephanie L is the best bud tender hands down! I haven’t been treated this well in a long time. She was super knowledgeable but not overly pushy. I went home and have experienced her recommendations and she was spot on! I will definitely returning. Stephanie hooked me up with bomb edibles and some bomb purple monkey! Thank you Stephanie!!

I have been coming to cc101 for 4+ years before it was even called cc101. I basically only used this dispen. for my meds. I always recommended to my VA buddies due to service and VA discount offered. NO LONGER RECOMMEND. I bought a Americana Cartridge yesterday that did not work when I tried to use. Today I returned to disp. To exchange defect cart. CC101 REFUSES TO EXCHANGE OR REFUND DEFECT VAP CARTRIDGES UNLESS YOU USE THAT MANUFACTURES BATTERY. Problem is they sell 5 - 6 differ manufactures CARTRIDGES. So YOU NEED TO BUY EACH DIFFERENT COMPANIES BATTERY to cover your choices. They no longer allow you to test the CARTRIDGES with your battery unit before purchase. SO YOU ARE BUYING A VAP CART FOR $20 - $40 with no guarantee it will even work. I have been using my battery unit for 25 - 30 Americana cart I have bought here w no probe. I even bought the battery from CC101 originally. But they are blaming my battery as defect. I even puffed a exhausted Amer. cart in there to show my battery works fine. I tried cart on 2 other batteries I own with no luck. They would not even let me try a AMERICANA Battery to see if the cart was defective. They wanted me to buy a New AMERICANA BATTERY UNiT FROM THEM and try the cart. then. Why should I give them another $15 + Tax just to prove the cart. is bad. And hope they then decide to exchange the cart. This IS lousy cust service to a dedicated client that has spent $1000's with them over the last 4years. Another SCREW YOU ISSUE DUE TO THE NEW WEED RULES. I WILL NOT RETURN TO CC101 FOR ANY MEDS ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE and the indifference. This bad experience was enough irritation for me. Maybe other dispensaries stand behind their products better. CC101 use to be that dispensary. VAP CART. COST WAY TOO MUCH TO BE A GAMBLE ON WORKING PROPERLY ( you can't even easily open the defective cart. anymore to even extract the concentrate for use.)
Hello there! We are sorry but the machine we had the cartridge tried on worked and unfortunately with the new laws and regulations we can't have anyone try the products on the premises. This isn't something CC101 exclusively does but something all dispensaries in California are required to do. The battery you had was something that we used to carry over a year ago. These new cartridges that are coming out are C-Cell cartridges which are different than the cartridges that came out back then and aren't gauranteed to work with older style batteries. Also says that on the back of the cartridges you purchase that they will only guarantee that it'll work with their specific batteries. Batteries do go bad after 5-6 months of use and don't last forever. The battery you showed us in store was an older model battery from over a year ago and you do need to get a new one every so often depending on usage. This new policy is something that most all dispensaries have to abide by and we do again apologize for the inconvenience. We hope you'll come by again and understand that we don't have these new policies in place because we want to but have to.
I use to live close by and would mostly come by for edibles because they are one of the few that carried top shelf/Kannaroo. I was never impressed with their customer service and this was 5+ years ago. I was visiting Sac and wanted edibles and try soft gel pills. It took a few minutes to go back after paperwork and I was greeted by Alissa. My wife was in a lot of pain and I needed to find something strong and Alissa helped me out with the soft gels blueberries. This is the first time I felt like a patient when coming into CC101. I really appreciate the time and knowledge from Alissa. My wife was able to get some relief on our trip back to San Jose so thank you. To everyone complaining about Tax if you voted for it here’s the repercussions, taxes are lower here than SJ so that helped. Horrible that patients are suffering from this new proposition, great for ppl who say they will only try when legal. I’ll be getting a state card soon because this tax is cray cray.
We appreciate the honest review! The staff has changed much since five years ago and we can't say if those here at that time were helpful or not, but we can gaurantee that the staff now are all trained and should be able to help you out with all of your questions and concerns. The tax is unfortunately law now and we don't dictate what they are. Come visit us any time!
they have uninformed staff and never update menu on weedmaps
We're sorry to hear about your recent visit. The menu is updated daily and is maintained throughout the day to the best of our ability. It gets busy often and sometimes things run out and it doesn't get updated up to the minute. It does get updated as shortly thereafter. The staff is very informed and we make sure to train them with as much knowledge as needed to help all of our customers and patients. If there was something in specific you were referring to, please come on in and ask to speak to one of our managers who will gladly help you out.

Overpriced product and poor service
Hi there! Our prices are pretty competitive relative to other dispensaries in Sacramento as we got all kinds of products ranging from just a few bucks on up. We pride ourselves on great customer service and would appreciate if you would give us a bit more information as to what the issue was for you.
