Runtz & Cream is a hybrid dried flower from Partake, an Edmonton craft grower. The Runtz side of the name traces back to Zkittlez and Gelato, which is where the candy sweetness in this cultivar comes from, and the cream half points at the softer, dessert leaning end of the profile. Partake grows in soil, in individual pots, hand watered rather than fed on a schedule. Limonene leads bright and citrus forward. Caryophyllene follows with a peppery spice that gives the sweetness something to push against, and beta pinene adds a light resinous edge at the back. The result is fruity without being one note, and the cure shows in how smoothly it burns. The hybrid balance keeps it flexible across the day, more relaxed than energising but never heavy. Craft flower at this size suits people who care about how the buds look and smell as much as how they hit. Partake is one of the smaller Alberta growers still doing everything by hand, hang drying and trimming without automation.
