Lemon Cake Pop is a sativa dried flower from Headstone, released under their limited ETRNL line. Bred in house from Lemon Skunk crossed with Cake Pop, the cultivar is reserved for ETRNL and comes from a small allocation of the grow room, with only the most expressive flower making the final cut. Each release is intentionally small. Terpinolene leads the profile, which explains the piercing citrus that hits first. Fresh lemon peel opens the aroma, followed by candied citrus, whipped vanilla and sweet cake frosting. Ocimene adds a sweet herbal lift and myrcene gives the brightness some depth. On the palate it moves from tart lemon and cake batter on the inhale to lemon zest and soft vanilla on the exhale. The sativa lean comes on quickly and stays bright, with an uplifted, creative headspace and a lighter body feel. It suits daytime sessions, social settings and anything that calls for a bit more energy. Headstone grows Lemon Cake Pop hydroponically in rockwool under a tightly controlled environment in Alberta, then hang dries, hand trims and cold cures the flower to protect its aroma and resin.
