Purple Nuken | 28g

Purple Nuken is an indica dried flower from Gorilla Garden, packed in a big bag ounce for people who already know what they like. It is a heritage Canadian cultivar from the Nuken family, a strain that has held a following here for decades thanks to dense, resinous buds with deep green colour and purple flashes under a heavy coat of trichomes. The nose opens on sweet berries and ripe grape, then turns toward earthy spice with a skunky undertone that gives away its old school roots. The Nuken line is usually led by myrcene, which shows up as that soft, earthy sweetness sitting under the fruit. On the exhale the flavour stays smooth, fruit first with an herbal finish. This is a classic indica lean, calm and settled, and it fits best later in the day or when there is nowhere to be. The larger format suits regular consumers who would rather stock up on a proven cut than chase rotating drops. Gorilla Garden is a small batch Alberta producer run by Jason Squires out of Okotoks, home to the province's first farmgate cannabis store. The flower is hand harvested, hang dried and finished by hand before it is bagged. Available at Bud Bar locations across Calgary and online at budbar.ca.
