Jet Fuel Funk | 3.5g

Jet Fuel Funk is an indica dried flower from JOI Botanicals, a craft grower based in Alberta that hang dries, hand trims and cures every harvest in stainless steel. The strain is already on Bud Bar shelves in a big bag and in pre-rolls, and this smaller bag makes it easy to try before committing to more. The aroma is loud and unmistakable. Garlic and savoury funk hit first, followed by gas and diesel that linger in the jar. Limonene sits at the top of the terpene profile and adds a bright citrus edge that cuts through the funk, while beta caryophyllene brings pepper and beta myrcene rounds things out with an earthy, herbal base. The indica lean settles in with a heavy, relaxed body feel that works best later in the day. It is a good fit for an evening at home, a movie, or winding down after a long shift, and the funky gas profile will appeal to anyone who prefers savoury strains over sweet ones. JOI Botanicals packs every bag by hand and focuses on a generous ratio of large buds to small. The stainless steel cure helps lock in that pungent profile so the funk is still there when you open the bag. Available at Bud Bar locations across Calgary and online at budbar.ca.
