Colorado Chronic - Mandarin Kush - Classic
Origin 1: The version most commonly listed as Mandarin OG is attributed to Tangerine Haze crossed with OG Kush, although no original breeder has been firmly established. Tangerine and orange peel lead the aroma, followed by herbal earth and warm OG spice. The flavor carries juicy citrus up front before settling into a peppery, slightly gassy finish.
Origin 2: Ethos Genetics developed a separate cultivar sold as Mandarin Kush and sometimes labeled Mandarin OG from (OG Kush x Master Kush) crossed with Mandarin Sunset. This version leans harder into its Kush side, pairing creamy orange and citrus with earthy spice and gas.
Those in the know describe both versions as citrus-bright hybrids that open with an energetic, creative lift before settling into physical calm. The Tangerine Haze version tends to stay lighter, chattier, and more daytime-friendly, while the Ethos Genetics cut brings a heavier Kush finish that can feel more grounded and relaxing.
