A wealth of information
I'm new to the world of cannabis. I had specific health issues that I wanted to address, but had no idea where to begin. First off, I was surprised how open and simple the store was...easier to navigate. Secondly, being this was my first time, and a little apprehensive being there, I was easily put to ease by the professional and friendly staff. I had a ton of questions, and they were very patient, being I was a newbie. Eventually, after going there a few times, I was able to get exactly what I needed for my issues. I love the education I got and helped to eliminate some of the stigmas that go along with cannabis. For those of you that are beginners, I highly recommend AK Slow Burn.

Great prices
After having a bad experience at another shop, I came to Ak slow burn not only did I find killer shatter but the price was better then I've seen anywhere and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly definitely will be returning.

I've been to many states and have seen lots of these shops mostly medical in nature. What stands out is even being fairly new to the scene they have reasonable prices for what I have seen in Alaska so far. The staff was friendly an helped me with all my questions and I could tell they knew what they needed too to be able to service patients and friends with professionalism and high-medium grade medical. Nothing that would absolutely blow you away. A good selection of well known great strains. Generally 70% and higher THC. So unless you are a stickler and have to have only the most outrageously potent weed this place is great both price and quality wise. I didn't get to stay long as it was near closing time. But the only thing I didn't notice but should have looked for was the edible selection. Next time though!

Great Shop for those New to Cannabis
Knowledgeable staff, especially for those of us new to cannibis use. I greatly appreciated the bud tender answering my questions on the different types of concentrates. I ended up with Laughing Budda/Snow White concentrate (shatter), and one of the Chillum pipes. I also purchased some flower (Blackberry Diesel) and a 2 pk in the pre roll of Paradise Nebula. Staff explained different methods of use of the Chillum pipe, and loved the results I got using the flower with a tiny bit of concentrate. Quite powerful and the added concentrate added a punch! The Chillum pipe is easy to use and I highly recommend this as a beginner method for trying concentrates. Also loved the pre roll in Paradise Nebula. Not too high in thc (16.82%), and with 0.05% in cbd, it still provides a powerful but not stupor inducing experience. First visit to Slow Burn, and I definitely will return. Thanks!

So I was hesitant about this place after seeing Alaskan508 review. But I figured I would give it a try, especially after hearing about the prices. The store was not that difficult to get to and I did not have any issues with parking. I walked in and was surprised by how clean it the store was and the displays were very nice. Really like the big boards with the product and prices. The staff was welcoming and were more than happy to take the time to explain to me some of the differences in the products and help me pick out something that suited my needs (Suffer from Migraines). This is someplace worth going back to.

So I came in last week Friday and got some of the deasil breath, and Clementine, the deasel breath helped me fall asleep really fast slept almost all night with only one restroom visit, the Clementine helped with my migraines and my appite, and I Loved the body high from both, and they were very tasty flowers

For someone who is learning about all the different avenues of Cannabis they were very helpful and answered all my questions, I have alot of cronic pain anxiety, ptsd, it's important for me to do my research so I know which ones are gonna best work for me. thanks once again for making me and my friend enjoy our first experience in your despensary you will have alot more business from me In the future I wish you the best of luck.....

All in one! Just moved out here and was looking for a gram cartridge and vapes. Ended up finding both items in one store! Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn’t catch his name, but he had long hair and glasses. Awesome help! Thank you. Will happily be back :)

Amazing selection of flower, pre-rolls, and concentrates. The hardware and extras are also plentiful and the staff is excellent! My wife and I are both big fans and recommend their shop 100%! We found them a year and a half ago and have been fans ever since. They have. As many have mentioned, an awesome selection of tasty pre-rolls - very obviously rolled from flower, not filler, as so many shops tend to do. You won’t find pre-rolls of shake-n-trim here. Just great PRolls that tend to last longer than we do the first try;) Off 5th, easy to find in a safe and convenient spot Keep up the good job guys n ladies See ya soon J
