Very Cherry gives Hella Jelly its sativa dominance, including its uplifting and energizing effects and berry flavor, while Notorious THC contributes to its appearance. Also known as Jelly Rancher, Hella Jelly is a small, round bud with bright green and golden nugs, amber pistils, and yellow-tinted crystal trichomes. The taste and aroma of Hella Jelly are similar, with mango, strawberry, cherry, and grape coming through, topped off with a hint of sour citrus. In 2019, Hella Jelly was the winner of Humboldt Seed Company's Phenotype Mega-Hunt competition, a contest that takes place in Humboldt County and involves a scavenger hunt in which Humboldt Seed Company scientists, cultivators, and breeders search for the best of the cannabis genome.
