Maui Wowie (also known as Maui Waui) is a legendary Sativa-dominant hybrid. Originating from the Hawaiian island of Maui in the 1960s, it is one of the most famous "landrace-derived" cultivars in cannabis history. Genetics: Approximately 80% Sativa and 20% Indica. While its exact parentage is unknown, it was developed by selectively breeding high-elevation Hawaiian Sativas in rich volcanic soil. Potency: Modern versions typically test between 20% and 28% THC.
