Legendary breeder Compound Genetics created the Khalifa Mints strain in collaboration with Khalifa Kush. This indica-dominant hybrid comes from a cross between the original Khalifa Kush strain and The Menthol (one of Compound Genetics' foundational strains). Wiz Khalifa, the founder of Khalifa Kush, specifically chose this new strain as the first official Khalifa-cross, partly thanks to its reported relaxing and uplifting effects. Typically, this strain expresses a high total terpene content, with limonene, linalool, and borneol as the most prevalent. This blend develops into a citrusy lemon flavor with hints of menthol. Khalifa Mints is diesel forward on the nose with lemon, pine, and sour on the back end. It can reach moderately high levels of THC, with traces of a few minor cannabinoids, including CBG and CBD.
