Original cannabis leaf pressings from local Southern California Etsy business Between the Tides. Each one is hand crafted and unique, utilizing real plants in a variety of designs. Artist Sara Ann is a former marine science and public school teacher with a degree in Environmental Biology from U.C. Davis. Born and raised in San Diego, she has always had a passion for the local marine ecosystem. Sara’s art mainly focuses on making real marine algae (seaweed) pressings that are collected locally from a variety of San Diego, California beaches. These unique pieces of art represent the often-times overlooked diversity and beauty of algae found between the tides of our coastline. Today, nothing gives her greater joy than combining her love of the ocean with her love of art.
