Appleberry is bred by Netherlands-based Sumo Seeds, who crossed White Widow with Dynalicious to get this popular indica-leaning hybrid. In fact, it’s so good that it took home 1st place at the Highlife Cup in Amsterdam in 2016. This strain’s name comes from the flower’s fruity flavor and aroma — notes of apples and berries are distinguishable, accompanied by a subtle earthiness. Despite the THC content being on the lower end, Appleberry’s high is long-lasting and produces strong cerebral and physical effects, like euphoria, relaxation, and couch-lock. When it comes to appearances, this is where Appleberry really shines — literally. The nugs are so trichome-crusted they look white. Glimmers of purple and green can be spotted when looking closely, and orange pistils pop up sporadically from the frosty crevices of the bud.
