Waited Nearly Six Hours for No Delivery

Ordered at 3:30. Order was confirmed (via text) packed and ready for delivery at 4:14. I called them at 6:30 to get an updated ETA for delivery. The lady was very nice and explained they had a lot of call outs and could see my order but were just waiting for an available driver. No ETA was provided but they said it would absolutely be delivered tonight. At 7:18 (and 7:23) my order was confirmed (via text) 'out for delivery.' I received a call at 9:17 saying the driver got a flat tire and would not be able to deliver. I was offered the opportunity to pre-order (no compensation, just the opportunity to place the same order to be delivered tomorrow) but declined. I'm super bummed I waited around for almost six hours for a delivery that never happened.

My driver's license is expired. I don't drive anymore because I am disabled with multiple sclerosis. With covid I'm not in a hurry for my license. But I cannot sleep because I'm in severe pain. I don't know if this rule applies for every store but it is just wrong!
