Its name, derived from the "Garlic, Mushroom, Onion" (GMO) aroma, highlights its unique, pungent, and savory flavor profile. With over ten years of farming experience, Mira and Dakota Miller of Row by Row Farm sought to use their organic farming practices in a new venture, Hurley Grown. Mira and Dakota have been implementing long term cover crop plans to build and maintain the fertility of the soil and their farm has been certified organic since 2017. Through their continuous engagement with minimally invasive soil methods, Mira and Dakota choose not to use synthetic pesticides, genetically modified, or fungicide treated seed on their farm. With Row by Row Farm nestled on 140 acres of upstate soil, paired with a dedication to their land, the decision to grow cannabis was an exciting one. The farming community of Hurley provided much of the inspiration for starting their cannabis enterprise. They continue to work closely with a neighboring multi-generation farm to bring a wider array of strains to their brand. It’s these connections along with the dedication to quality that provide the foundation for Hurley Grown.
