Somewhere between tropical candy and expensive hand soap, this actually started smelling like a good idea.

Bred and selected by Deep East of DEO Farms and grown by Wizard Trees, Zoap comes from the Pink Guava and Rainbow Sherbet breeding family. Its commonly listed parentage is Pink Guava × Rainbow Sherbet. More detailed accounts trace it through successive selections within DEO’s RS project, so that pairing is useful shorthand for a longer breeding history. Zoap earned Best Overall at the 2022 Zalympix Championship.

Sweet fruit and floral perfume lead the nose, followed by that distinctive soapy note and a gassy bite that becomes more noticeable when the flower is ground. The flavor moves through tropical sweetness, citrus, and earth, with the floral character hanging around. Calling weed “soapy” sounds like a complaint until somebody hands you the right jar.

Dense green buds can carry dark purple patches, orange pistils, and a thick coat of trichomes. The contrast gives the flower plenty of bag appeal, but the unusual aroma does more to distinguish it than another purple-and-frosty photo.

Regulars who reach for this one describe a quick mood lift, easy laughter, and enough relaxation to get comfortable without necessarily checking out. The munchies show up in plenty of accounts, too. Happy, baked, and suddenly treating the takeout menu like you’ve been appointed head chef. Some batches lean heavier, but Zoap’s following generally points toward a cheerful high with room to enjoy the company.
