Zangria is an indica-leaning hybrid strain that pays homage to the Iberian Peninsula's trademark punch. Its most popular variety, bred by Wizard Trees, crosses Zkittlez, aka The Original Z, and the Girl Scout Cookies variation Thin Mint. Greenpoint Seeds also breeds a similar cultivar derived from Zkittlez and Purple Punch. Like the beverage, Zangria tastes like fresh berries and stone fruit, with citrus notes and an herbal nose that evokes spearmint and anise. The flower is hardy and handsome — green speckled with violet tones, dusted in baby blue crystal trichomes. Zangria tends to hit heavy, so save it for a well-earned siesta.
