BOUKET | Sunset Strip | 7G Flower

Bouket Sunset Strip 7G Flower: Indica-Listed Quarter Ounce in Hell's Kitchen Sunset Strip is a Los Angeles street name on a New York brand's bag, which is a pretty good summary of how cannabis naming works these days. The Bouket Sunset Strip 7G Flower is a quarter ounce, listed as Indica on our menu, and Cannadreams carries it at our licensed dispensary at 862 9th Ave, on the corner of West 56th Street in Hell's Kitchen. What the records show A strain called Sunset Strip does appear in some strain listings, but its parents are not documented there, and Bouket does not publish the genetics of its version. So the lineage is not widely published. We also cannot say whether Bouket's Sunset Strip matches any other grower's plant with the same name, since strain names are not regulated. Our menu lists it as Indica. A Harlem story behind the bag Bouket is a New York cannabis brand. Its name, the company says, comes from Prohibition-era Harlem, where "bouquet" worked as a code word for cannabis in the jazz world. Bouket describes itself as minority-owned and rooted in New York's cannabis history, and it signs off with the line "Give yourself your flowers." Its products include flower in several sizes, single joints and packs of mini prerolls. Budgeting a quarter across the month The quarter ounce is popular with people who like routine. Seven grams divided into weekly portions gives you a bit under 2 grams per week across four weeks, or 1 gram per day for a week if you are a daily joint smoker. Planning it out this way has two benefits. You open the main jar less often, which keeps the flower fresher, and you get a clear sense of how much you actually use, which helps when deciding between an eighth, a quarter and a half ounce next time. Splitting it up A simple system: when you get home, divide the quarter into two or three small airtight containers. Keep one in rotation and leave the others sealed in a dark cabinet. Each time you open a fresh container, the flower has not been exposed to air every day for weeks. Small glass jars or doob tubes work well. Label them if you keep more than one strain at home. Compared with an eighth An eighth (3.5 grams) is a sampler size; you buy it to try something. A quarter (7 grams) is for a strain or a brand you already know or are confident about. If Sunset Strip is new to you, there is no harm in starting with something smaller from Bouket and working up. If you already know the Bouket style, the quarter saves you a trip. Keeping it fresh between portions Store every container away from light and heat. In a walk-up with radiators that clank all winter, that means a closet or a drawer, not a shelf near the heater. Avoid the fridge, where condensation becomes an issue. A two-way humidity pack in the main container helps keep moisture steady through both dry winters and humid summers. Getting to Cannadreams We are at 9th Ave and West 56th Street, an easy walk from Columbus Circle, Clinton and the Theater District, and close to the subway. Walk-ins are welcome. You can also order online for in-store pickup and grab it at the counter. Why the license matters A lot of shops in Manhattan still sell cannabis outside the legal market. Those products do not go through New York's testing and labeling rules. Everything at Cannadreams, including this Bouket quarter, comes through the regulated system with state-required lab testing and labeling.
