Bouket Creme Bouket 7G Flower: Hybrid Quarter Ounce, Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan Creme Bouket is one of the strains that carries the brand's own name, which makes it a good place to start if you want to get to know this New York label. The Bouket Creme Bouket 7G Flower is a quarter ounce bag, listed as Hybrid on our menu, and you can find it at Cannadreams, 862 9th Ave on the corner of West 56th Street in Hell's Kitchen. Straight talk on the genetics We searched the usual strain references and found no published parentage for Creme Bouket. The brand does not list it either. So the lineage is not widely published, and we will leave it at that rather than fill the gap with a guess. The dessert-style name hints at the aroma the brand had in mind, but it is plain flower, nothing added. Where the Bouket name comes from Bouket is a New York cannabis brand with a story set in 1920s Harlem. According to the company, "bouquet" was jazz-age slang for cannabis, used in the speakeasies and late-night parlors uptown during Prohibition. Bouket describes itself as minority-owned and rooted in New York's cannabis culture. Its tagline, "Give yourself your flowers," turns that slang into a small statement about self-worth. The lineup includes flower in several sizes, single joints and mini preroll packs. Choosing among Bouket hybrids Bouket makes several hybrid-listed flowers, and customers often ask how to choose between them. Without published genetics, the menu label alone will not settle it. Our approach at the counter: decide what matters to you first. If it is aroma, ask to compare display samples side by side. If it is the look of the bud, check trim and density. If it is consistency, buy a quarter of the one you already like so you are working from a single batch for a while. Creme Bouket is the natural pick when you are curious about a strain the brand chose to name after itself. Using a dry herb vaporizer with whole flower A quarter ounce works well with a dry herb vaporizer, which heats flower instead of burning it. A few practical tips. Grind finer than you would for a joint, because more surface area heats more evenly. Pack the chamber firmly but not so tight that air cannot pass. Start at the lower end of your device's temperature range and step up gradually; many people notice the taste changes as the temperature rises. Stir the bowl halfway through a session. Clean the screen and mouthpiece regularly, since residue changes the taste. How long a quarter lasts Seven grams is two eighths. In a vaporizer, flower often stretches further than in a joint, so a quarter can cover a good while for a light user. If you mix methods, rolling on weekends and using a vaporizer during the week, the quarter is a convenient middle size: more than an eighth, much less than a half ounce. Keeping flower in good condition Move it into a glass jar with an airtight lid. Store the jar in a dark, cool cabinet, away from heat sources like a radiator or oven, and away from windows. Skip the fridge; cold flower collects moisture once it warms up. Avoid plastic bags for the long term, and handle the buds lightly. A two-way humidity pack helps in a dry winter apartment.
