BOUKET | Bordeaux Rose | 7G Flower

Bouket Bordeaux Rose 7G Flower: Hybrid Quarter Ounce near Columbus Circle Bordeaux Rose sounds like something you would order by the glass at a wine bar on 9th Ave. It is actually a Bouket flower, and the Bouket Bordeaux Rose 7G Flower is a quarter ounce of it. Cannadreams carries it at our licensed Hell's Kitchen dispensary, 862 9th Ave on the corner of West 56th Street. Read the name as a label, not a flavor Bordeaux Rose is not wine-infused or rose-scented by design. It is plain cannabis flower with a name chosen by the brand. Its lineage is not widely published: the strain does not show up in the major databases, and Bouket has not released its parents. Our menu lists it as Hybrid, and that is as far as we will go. Anything else you read about its genetics online is likely guesswork. Smelling flower like a sommelier Since the name borrows from wine, borrow a wine habit too. Aroma is the most useful information you have about a strain whose lineage is unknown. Open the jar and take a short smell right away, then give it a moment and smell again; the second impression often tells you more. Break a small bud between your fingers and notice how the scent changes. Compare it with another hybrid side by side if you can. Over time you build your own vocabulary, which is far more reliable than a strain name. The brand behind the bag Bouket is a New York cannabis company that draws its name from a word used in Harlem a century ago. As the brand tells it, "bouquet" served as a code word for cannabis in the jazz-era underground during Prohibition. Bouket describes itself as minority-owned and deeply tied to New York's cannabis story, and it uses the line "Give yourself your flowers." It sells flower, single joints and mini preroll packs. A quarter ounce in practice Seven grams equals one quarter of an ounce, or two eighths. For a casual smoker that is often a few weeks of flower. For someone who smokes daily, it may be a week or two. Bouket also makes Bordeaux Rose as an eighth and as a single 1 gram joint, so the quarter is for people who already know they want more than a sample. If you are not sure yet, ask about the smaller sizes at the counter. Cellar rules for flower Wine people keep bottles cool, dark and steady, and flower wants roughly the same. Heat, light and air all wear it down. Move the flower from the bag into a glass jar with an airtight seal. Store it in a closet or cabinet, not near the radiator, oven or a sunny window. Do not keep it in the fridge, where moisture becomes a problem when you take it out. Handle the buds as little as possible; trichomes are fragile, and fingers knock them off. In a dry, steam-heated apartment, a two-way humidity pack in the jar keeps the texture steady. Consumption options for whole flower A quarter of whole flower gives you flexibility. You can roll it, pack a pipe, or use it in a dry herb vaporizer. Whatever you choose, grind only what you need for one session. Whole buds hold aroma much longer than ground material.
